One of the many interesting statements that comes

mouth's of some in the light of man quoting scripture is you said or the one declaring scripture said. Well no what we are post is scripture and the scripture speaks for it self and is revealed to any that want to know that truth, by the spirit of god.

In reference to the following response, some say this is the way it is because I posted one hundred scriptures and thus it is scriptural, yes and no. Scripture is always true and it stands on it's own and it is not open to man's interpretation, it is to be heard and believed as the instruction in scripture and by obeying the word of God in how to walk in truth, the Holy Spirit will always reveal the truth to whosoever obeys scripture.

So let's go over this post and rightly divide the word of truth:

H

John 6: Why did Jesus say, "No man can come to me..."?

James we already know what reformed theology says, but this is a bible forum, it should be about true Christianity.

James replies:

The opening post on this thread is 98% Scripture verses.

Your one line accusations are tedious, and are never accompanied by ANY Scriptural evidence.

In Christ,

Scriptural evidence has been given numerous times but scriptural evidence has never been heeded.

We will take one verse of scripture quoted by reformation theology as justification to their theology.

Romans 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Romans 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

This scripture is used by those of Reformation theology to say none seek after God, none understand, all are gone out of their way, etc., etc,.

It is never brought that verse 3 of Romans ch 3 tells us who these are spoken of in verses 3:11 and 3:12.

Ro 3:2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Those referred to in verse 11 and 12, are those that choose not to believe the word of God.

Also concerning these statements in verse 11 and 12, they are quotes from the old testament and this same truth is revealed there in the psalms.

Another way to rightly divide this truth is found those that scripture declares to be righteous because of their faith.

Another way is to find those in scripture that sought the lord.

Another way is find those that did not turn there back on the lord.

Another way is to find in scripture those that did good and you will again rightly divide verses 11 and 12 as those being defined as people that choose to not believe what the lord said to them, which at times in history included most of the people on the earth but never all.

Scripture Rightly Divided.

You can also do just the same with any other scriptures such as Romans nine.

James there is a scriptural response again unto you.!!

Notice no copying and pasting.

Hey Phillp:

I see that once again you are revealing you ignorance of the Word of GOD.

I hope you have time, this is a bit long.

Phil: We will take one verse of scripture quoted by reformation theology as justification to their theology.

Phil:Romans 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Phil: Romans 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

This scripture is used by those of Reformation theology to say none seek after God, none understand, all are gone out of their way, etc., etc,.

POIC:Let us look in the Greek language from which this Scripture is translated from.

The Greek word for 'None' in both instances of verses 11-12

has the same definition

Original Word: οὐ

Part of Speech: Particle, Negative

Transliteration: ou, ouk, ouch

Phonetic Spelling: (oo)

Short Definition: no, not

Definition: no, not.

3756 ou no ("not"). 3756 (ou) objectively negates a statement, "ruling it out as fact."

[3756 (ou) is written ouk before smooth breathings and oux before a rough breathing.]

Word Origin

a prim. word

Definition

not, no

NASB Word Usage

all* (1), any the less (2), before* (1), cannot (1), cannot* (49), certainly* (1), ever* (3), except (1), failed (1), few* (1), great* (1), greatly* (1), impossible* (1), incessantly* (1), kept...a virgin* (1), kept right* (1), long* (1), neither (2), neither* (3), never (6), never* (17), no (147), no* (22), none (4), none* (3), nor (3), nothing (8), nothing* (13), nowhere* (2), number (1), number* (2), only* (5), rather (2), rather than (1), refrain (1), refused* (1), than* (2), unable* (6), unaware* (3), unwilling* (12), unworthy* (1), virgin* (1), without (2), without* (6).

nay, neither, never, no

Also (before a vowel) ouk (ook), and (before an aspirate) ouch (ookh) a primary word; the absolute negative (compare me) adverb; no or not -- + long, nay, neither, never, no (X man), none, (can-)not, + nothing, + special, un(-worthy), when, + without, + yet but. See also ou me, mekos

Now let us look at the Greek for the word 'Seek'

Original Word: ἐκζητέω

Part of Speech: Verb

Transliteration: ekzeteo

Phonetic Spelling: (ek-zay-teh'-o)

Short Definition: I seek out, require

Definition: I seek out, seek out after, require.

1567 ekzētō (from 1537 /ek, "out from and to" and 2212 /zētō, "seek") properly, seek out, emphasizing the personal intent of the seeker, i.e. the outcome intensely and personally desired by the seeker. This seeking is only as valuable (viable) as the motive which drives it.

enquire, seek after diligently.

From ek and zeteo; to search out, i.e. (figuratively)investigate, crave, demand, (by Hebraism) worship -- en- (re-)quire, seek after (carefully, diligently).

Phil: It is never brought that verse 3 of Romans ch 3 tells us who these are spoken of in verses 3:11 and 3:12.

Phil: Ro 3:2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

Phil: 3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

Phil: 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Phil: Those referred to in verse 11 and 12, are those that choose not to believe the word of God.

POIC: Again you show forth Biblical ignorance.

You have forgotten the first rule of interpretting Scripture, that is read eveything in its context.

POIC: Rom 3:9 What then? Do we excel? Not at all! For we have charged both Jews and Greeks before, all with being under sin;

Rom 3:10 according as it has been written, "There is not a righteous one, not even one!"

Rom 3:11 "There is not one understanding; there is not one seeking God."

POIC: Rom 3:12 All turned away, they became worthless together, not one is doing goodness, not so much as one!" LXX-Psa. 13:1-3

Below we have both the Jews and Gentiles/Greeks both as being under the law.verses 11-12

Both Jews and Gentiles are not righteous.

Both do not understand.

Both do not seek GOD.

Both have become useless!

Phil;you,I and everyone else in this life,we are either a Jew or a Gentile.

You cannot have this any other way.......

Greek for the word 'Useless'

Original Word: ἀχρειόω

Part of Speech: Verb

Transliteration: achreio

Phonetic Spelling: (akh-ri-o'-o)

Short Definition: I am good for nothing

Definition: (lit: I become sour, I turn, of milk), I am good for nothing, render useless; met: I become corrupt.

Cognate: 889 axreiō (from 888 /axreos, "without profit") properly, to become useless (without utility), like when something turns "sour" and unprofitable (used only in Ro 3:12). See 890 (axrēstos).

Phil: Also concerning these statements in verse 11 and 12, they are quotes from the old testament and this same truth is revealed there in the psalms.

Phil: Another way to rightly divide this truth is found those that scripture declares to be righteous because of their faith.

POIC: Christ makes me righteous, not faith.

POIC: You have faith in faith, not faith in Christ.

Christ declares me righteous, and then to makes me righteous.

This is all based upon who He is and what He is like.

I trust Him for this.

POIC: I have to stop here,my head is hurting from a sinus infection.

I would have continued, yet sometimes it seems as though

i am talking to an unteachable person.

Do not confuse me with the FACTS OF SCRIPTURE,for my faith is made up and unable to be taught anything more.

Notice no copying and pasting

Again delusionary, did you not cut and paste the WORD.

Hey Phil,trust Christ.

Have FAITH in Christ, stop having faith in faith.

Aloha
