****God Has A Plan For Our Life****



Matt 1:18-19, Matt 1:20-21, Matt 1:22-23, Matt 1:24-25



God has a plan for our life and its a beautiful plan that He has for us. God had a plan for Joseph and we can learn from his situation to trust God.



1) Our plans are not always God's plan: Matt 1:18-19.

When Joseph found out that Mary was pregnant he decided to divorce her quietly. In those days if Mary's pregnancy was publicized, she could have been stoned. Well, Joseph's plan was not God's plan. Joseph had to learn to do God's plan. Romans 8:28 All things work for our good.

Romans 8:31 God is for us.

Romans 8:37 We are conquerers thru God!!



2) We can hear from God: Matt 1:20-21

Joseph hears from God and so can we. God can speak to us thru his Word and thru dreams. If we have a dream and it contradicts the Word then its not from God. We just ate too much pizza thats all.

~~~a) God speaks to us thru His Word: We need to feed ourselves the Word on a regular basis. It should become woven into what we do. If we want to hear from God then we need to feed on the Word.

~~~b) We hear from God thru His Peace/Indigestion: When its right, then we feel peace. When its wrong then we feel spiritual indigestion.

~~~c) God speaks to us thru godly people: He will use them to help us grow.

They will support us and pray for us.

~~~d)Open doors/Closed doors: God speaks thru doors being open=its cool or doors being closed=its not cool. Now sometime a closed door could still be of God but Hes teaching us patience and perseverance. Wait on God!!



3) We are part of God's Plan: Matt 1:22-23

Joseph was part of God's plan. We too can have the opportunity to be part of God's plan. Psalm 139:13-18 God is still with us and he has many thoughts of blessing for us! Every plan of Every person is Important to God! Jesus has a specific plan for each of us individually.



4) We are to obey God: Matt 1:24-25

Joseph obeyed God. We are to obey the plan of God that he reveals to us. God trusted Joseph to obey him. Are we someone that God can trust? Just obey God and he will trust us and do beautiful things in our lives.
