I do not permit a *WOMEN TO TEACH or assume authority over a MAN, she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived it was the women who was deceived and became a sinner. Woman are also not allowed to even speak in the Church as per: I Corinthians 14:34,35: Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is DISGRACEFUL for a woman to speak in the church. Other Scriptures show that is all right to for a woman to teach God's Word to other women and their children. The one exception for a woman to teach God's Word to a man: is in their home along with her husband., and is found in: In acts 18:36: He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When PRISCILLA and Aquila heard him. THEY invited HIM to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately! I believe that in Christian Forums a woman may open new threads and quote God's Word and give their testimonies. But since men are present in the forum a woman should not should not TEACH MEN what God's Word means. I also believe that women should not criticize any man's interpretation of God's Word since that would be TEACHING A MAN which is a sin according to 1 Timothy 2:12-14 above. Post Reply

However, some people believe it to have been a Christophany, which is an appearance by Jesus in the Old Testament. end quote Yes Toth, very true it is taught in many CULT denominations that it is "Jesus" that wrestled with Jacob, not a "man" as the Bible says. But it seems not many want to reason out that "Jesus" the "Son" did not exist in the OT because originally the WORD was the Father and later the Father put His set apart WORD, which is HIMSELF and put it in the flesh (in the NT) what many on this forum call by the name of "Jesus" which His REAL name (not a pagan greek title) is Yah'shua the Son! The reason many CULT "churches" teach that it was "Jesus" that wrestled with Jacob, not a "man" as the Bible says, is because once again they want to force a Egyptian "trinity" doctrine in the Bible!!! Likely it was an Angel in the form of a "man" sent by Father YHWH to test and bless Jacob and change his name to Israel. How could an ordinary "man" put Jacob's "thigh out of joint" and then change his name, then bless him. Keep in mind Angels cannot bless humans, so its obvious to me the Angel was sent with the blessing of YHWH to deliver to Jacob and change his name! Right? Post Reply

Gen 32:29-30 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. Post Reply
