I have never been about feelings or opinions, The lord Jesus is neither to me, He is my life and one worthy of honor!! He is The Way, The truth, And Life, He is not an opinion to me. The day this once Catholic excepted the lord I accepted his word, he will never be an opinion to me, He is....... The Best without Exception!!!
Cattle, I have to call you out here. It seems that I see a lot of posts from you saying things such as "I have to ask you to.." and it leads me to wonder if you've been put in charge of CDFF?
From my understanding, this is a forum, meaning all thoughts are welcome. I'm going to be honest (and most likely brow beaten and banned after this post) in telling you that I have been nervous about posting for fear of your repercussions. I seem to remember a point where Jesus himself knocked over tables for getting his point across. Passion happens.
I love you, brother, but please don't judge. I appreciate what you have to give as wisdom and I agree with 99% of it. I think you're a great man of God, but don't hinder others discussions by telling them "I need to ask you to...." Instead, maybe say "In my opinion..."
I'm just saying....no one is better or "righter" than anyone else here.
Don't make people be afraid to fight for what they believe in.

dear folks, i can stand up for the truth and speak my beliefs without disrespecting,provoking and insulting others and their denominations and beliefs when i speak up for my beliefs..
i know we look at how JESUS cleaned out the temple...to justify our actions towards others at times..
wouldnt it be fair to say that HE knew the mind of GOD the Father better than anyone.. as HE was GOD the SON..
wouldnt it also be fair to say that HE knew the hearts of the men HE was chasin out of the temple.. . wouldnt it also be fair to say that JESUS has access to absolute truth without HIM intrepreting anything.. or drawing conclusions.. HE knew..
with that said we all believe we know the absolute truth.. we all believe we have it right..
but you see we know that cant be totally true as we do have our differences of beliefs.. so someone has to be wrong or partially wrong .. both sides can give good scriptures and reasoning.. see thats what ya do is have a good discussion without tearing others down.. or thats just makin it an arguement..
it so saddens me to see as in yesterday a lady that has been nothing but a sweet gentle spirit here for a long long time..
get so upset she turned to anger and lashed out at someone else .because of the way someone else had spoken to her.. and i had to speak to her as well..
it saddens me to see us all christians tearing each other down and disrespecting other peoples opinions and talkin condescending and belittling others intelligence and insulting others ...
were all human and we all can mess up at times.. and thats when i speak up and ask folks to please stop what they are doing there at the time... and i totally understand ones passion for the word and the truth.. i also know that i can mess up too at times as i am just a man myself..
but whilest we are here shouldnt we follow the rules laid out by the administration? and theyve spoken before on the forums themselves asking folks to please stop such behaviors as i am speaking of here.. arent we under their authority here? i am too..if they tell me im doin wrong i will stop doing whatever they tell me to..
we tend to believe that we can speak to others any old way we want to in the name of truth..
that may be true somewhere else but thats not true here..
we have things were asked not to do or say here ..
the administration has the final say on anything..
i just do my best to keep folks civil here ... its my duty.. and ive given my word on it.

Ever since I came back here I have gone out of my way to get along and apologize to keep the peace. It gets old being one of the few that do that and still get called on it.
I do understand that there are lots of posts and you are but one man, however fair is fair.
