There are some on this forum like Hark who claim that **ALL** of the 613 OT laws are still in effect today???
**BUT WHAT DOES GOD's WORD SAY??**
There are about 40 of these 613 OT laws concerning the daily animal sacrifices and offerings for sin!!
However, God's Word clearly states numerous times that Jesus made Atonement for all sins and therefore put an end to all animal sacrifices and offerings for sins and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for sins.
**THE ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS IS THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST**!!
Matthew 26:28: Jesus says, "This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many **FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS**!"
Galatians 2:18-21: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me! The life I live in the body, I live by **FAITH** in the Son of God, who loved me and **GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME**!! I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!!
Hebrews 9:12: He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by **HIS OWN BLOOD**, having obtained **ETERNAL REDEMPTION**!
Hebrews 9:22; 26-28: The law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood **THERE IS NO FORGIVENESS**.... But now He has appeared **ONCE FOR ALL** at the end of the ages to do away with sin **BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF**!! Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, and Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people, and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him!!
Ephesians 2:13: But now in Christ Jesus you who were once were far away have been brought near **THROUGH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST**!!
Hebrews 10:8-10: First He said, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire, nor were You pleased with them," although the law required them to be made. Then He said, "Here I am, I have come to do Your will." He sets aside the first **TO ESTABLISH THE SECOND**. And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ **ONCE FOR ALL**!!
Romans 3:21-25: But now a righteousness from God, **APART FROM THE LAW**, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes **THROUGH FAITH** in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by **HIS GRACE** through the **REDEMPTION** that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Him as a **SACRIFICE OF ATONEMENT**, **THROUGH FAITH IN HIS BLOOD**!!
Colossians 1:15-20: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities, all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the **HEAD OF HIS BODY, THE CHURCH**; He is the beginning and the firstborn from the dead, so that is **EVERYTHING HE MIGHT HAVE THE SUPREMACY**. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things **ON EARTH** or things in heaven, by making peace **THROUGH HIS BLOOD**, shed on the cross!!
Colossians 2:13-15: When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you **ALIVE WITH CHRIST**. He forgave us **ALL OUR SINS**, having canceled the written code, with its regulation, that was against us and that stood opposed to us, He took it away, **NAIILNG IT TO THE CROSS**!!.
Ephesians 1:3-8; 11: Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with **EVERY** spiritual blessing in Christ. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and **BLAMELESS** in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will--to the praise of His **GLORIOUS GRACE**, which He has freely given us in the One He loves. In Him we have **REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD**, **THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS**, in accordance the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding!!
I Peter 1:18,19: For you know that was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were **REDEEMED** from the empty way of life handed down to you by your forefathers, but with the **PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST**, Lamb without blemish or defect!!
I Peter 2:24,25: He Himself **BORE OUR SINS** in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness, by **HIS WOUNDS** we are healed{See Isaiah 53:5,6}!! For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls!!
I Peter 3:18 For Christ **DIED FOR SINS ONCE FOR LL**, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God!!
I John 2:1-5: My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have One who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the **ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS**, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world!! We know that we have come to know Him if we keep His {Jesus} commands. Whoever says, "I know Him," but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys His word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in Him!!
I John 4:10-12: This is **LOVE**, not that we loved God, but that He **LOVED** us and sent His Son as an **ATONING SACRIFICE** for our sins. Dear friends, since God so **LOVED** us, we also ought to **LOVE** one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we **LOVE** one another, God **LIVES IN US** and His **LOVE** is made complete in us.
Revelation 1:4,5: Grace and peace to you from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful Witness... To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins **BY HIS BLOOD**!!
NOTE: Jesus Christ our Savior is called the **LAMB** 30 times in the book of Revelation.
Revelation 5:6,9: Then I saw a **LAMB**, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne...You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because You were slain , and **WITH YOUR BLOOD** You purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation!!
Revelation 12:11: They overcame him by the **BLOOD OF THE LAMB** and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death!!
Revelation 7:14: These are they who have come out of the Great Tribulation, they have was their robes and made them white in the **BLOOD OF THE LAMB**!!
Isaiah 53:5,6: But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed! We all, like sheep, have gone astray , each of us has turned to his own way, and **THE LORD HAS LAID ON HIM THE INIQUITY OF US ALL**!!
Romans 5:6-10: You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless. Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His love for us in this: While we were still sinners **CHRIST DIED FOR US**. Since we are now justified **BY HIS BLOOD**, how much more will we be saved from God's wrath through Him! When we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to Him **THROUGH THE DEATH OF HIS SON**!!
Hark claims that there is no OT Scripture which even implies that Jesus is God???
The word **ELOHIM** is the **PLURAL** of **EL** and is the first name for God given for God in the OT and is used over 3,000 times in the OT: "In the beginning God {**ELOHIM**} created the heavens and the earth!" {Genesis 1:1}
Genesis 1:26: God {**ELOHIM**} said, "Let **US** {PLURAL} make mankind in **OUR** {PLURAL} image, in **OUR** {PLURAL} likeness!!"
John 1:1-3: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the **WORD WAS GOD**. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made!!

Revelation 19:9,10: The angel said to me, "Write this: **BLESSED** are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the **LAMB**!" And he added, "These are the true words of God!" At this I fell at his feet to **WORSHIP** him, But he said to me, "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus! **WORSHIP GOD**! For it is the spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus!"
Revelation 22:8,9: I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, "**DON'T DO THAT** A am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who **KEEP THE WORDS** of this scroll. **WORSHIP GOD**!!
Hebrews 1:6,8: When God brings His firstborn into the world He says, "Let all God's angels **WORSHIP HIM**.... About the Son He says, "Your throne, **O GOD**, will last for ever and ever, a scepter of justice will be the scepter of **YOUR KINGDOM**!"
Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus says, "**ALL AUTHORITY**in heaven and on earth has been given to **ME**. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always!"
**JESUS CHRIST, OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR**
Jesus is **WORSHIPED** many times in God's Word in Matthew 2:2,8,11; 14:33; 28:9,17 Luke 24:52 John 9:38 and Revelation 5:14 and !5:4!!
Matthew 2:10,11: When the Wise Men saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the Child with His mother Mary, and they bowed down and **WORSHIPED HIM**!
Matthew 14:33; Then those who were in the boat **WORSHPED HIM**!!
Matthew 28:8,9: So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell His disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," He said. They came to Him, clasped His feet and **WORSHIPED HIM**!
Matthew 28:16,17: Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When the saw Him, they **WORSHIPED HIM**!
There are some who completely ignore these Scriptures and claim that Jesus is not God because he said that the Father is greater than me in John 14:28 and that the Father told Him what to say as per John 14:23,24: Jesus says, "Anyone who loves Me will obey My teaching. My Father will love them, and We will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love Me will not obey My teaching. The words you hear are not My own; they belong to the Father who sent Me."
John 9:37,38: Jesus said, "You have now seen Him; in fact, He is the one speaking with you!" Then the man said, "Lord, I believe," and he **WORSHIPED HIM**!
NOTE: Jesus is called the **LAMB** 30 times in the book of Revelation!
Revelation 5:13,14: Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, an all that is In them, saying "To Him who sits on the throne and to the **LAMB** be praise and honor and glory and power for ever and ever!" The 4 living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and **WORSHIPED**!
Revelation 17:14; They will wage war against the **LAMB**, but the **LAMB** will overcome them because He is **LORD** of lords and King of kings--and with Him will be His **CALLED**, *CHOSEN** and **FAITHFUL** followers!!
Now there are some Satanist's who believe that Popes elected by the Roman Catholic Church are somehow descendants of Peter and are the **HEADS** of God's church **ON EARTH** in the **PRESENT AGE** until the second coming of Jesus???

Ephesians 1:20-23: He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the **PRESENT AGE** but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be the **HEAD OVER EVERYTHING FOR THE CHURCH** which is **HIS BODY, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way!!
Ephesians 4:7,11-13,15,16: To each one of us grace has been give has Christ apportioned it... Christ Himself {Not the Churches!} gives some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some to be pastors and teachers, to equip God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ... Speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the **HEAD**, that is, **CHRIST**! **FROM HIM** the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament {Appointed by Christ}, grows and builds itself as each part does its work!!
Ephesians 5:23,24: The husband is the head of the wife as **CHRIST IS THE **HEAD** OF THE CHURCH**, His body, of which He is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything!

I Corinthians 10:2-4: They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank from the spiritual **ROCK** that accompanied them, and that **ROCK**{Greek-**PETRA**} was **CHRIST**!!
Matthew 16:15-18;21-23: Jesus said, "Who do you say I am?" Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, **BY MY FATHER** in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter {Greek "Petros"} and on this **ROCK** {Greek-"Petra"} I will build My church..... From that time on Jesus began to explain to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that He must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, "Never, Lord!" he said, This will never happen to you!" Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! you are a **STUMBLING BLOCK** to Me, you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns."
And later Peter denied the Lord Jesus three times!
Galatians 2:11,14-16: Paul said, "When Peter came to Antioch I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong... When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the Gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all: "You are a Jew. how is it then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs? We who are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified!!"
It is interesting to note that God inspired Paul to write 14 of the 27 books in the New Covenant. Peter wrote 2 books with 8 chapters and John, the disciple Jesus loved as per John 20:2; 21:7; 21:20, was inspired by God to write 5 books with 50 chapters.
Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus says, "**ALL AUTHORITY** in heaven and **ON EARTH** has been given to **ME**! Therefore go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to **OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU**! And surely I am with you **ALWAYS**!!"
**IS GIVING **PRAISE** AND **GLORY** TO GOD THE FATHER AND OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE NEW COVENANT**

??Luke 2:20: The shepherds returned, **GLORIFYING* and **PRAISING GOD** for all the things they had heard and seen!
Luke 2:14: Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, **PRAISING GOD** and saying, "**GLORY TO GOD** in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests!"
John 1:14: The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen **HIS GLORY**, the **GLORY** of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth!!!
John 11:40: Jesus says, "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the **GLORY OF GOD**!!"
John 15:8: Jesus says, "This is to My **FATHER'S GLORY**, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples!"
Romans 4:20,21: Abraham did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave **GLORY TO GOD**, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised!
Romans 5:1,2: Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the **GLORY OF GOD**!!
I Corinthians 10:31: So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, **DO IT **ALL** FOR THE **GLORY** OF GOD**!!
2 Corinthians 3:9-11,18: If the ministry that brought condemnation was **GLORIOUS**, how much more **GLORIOUS** is the ministry that brings righteoousness!! For what was **GLORIOUS** has no glory now in comparison with the **SURPASSING GLORY**! And if what is transitory came with **GLORY** how much greater is the the **GLORY OF THAT WHICH LASTS**!... And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the **LORD'S GLORY**, are being transformed into His image with **EVER INCREASING GLORY**, which comes from the Lord!
2 Corinthians 4:15-18: All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause **THANKSGIVING** to overflow to the **GLORY OF GOD**! Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an **ETERNAL GLORY** that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is tempoary, but on what is **UNSEEN IS **ETERNAL**!

Philippians 1:9-11: And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth an insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameness for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the **GLORY AND PRAISE OF GOD**!!
2 Corinthians 11:31: Through Jesus, therefore, let us **CONTINUALLY** offer to God a sacrifice of **PRAISE**--the fruit of lips that openly profess His name!!
I Peter 4:10,11: Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks they should do so as one who speaks the very Words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things **GOD MAY BE PRAISED** through Jesus Christ. To Him be the **GLORY** and power for ever and ever!! Amen.

Jesus is Yeshua or Joshua in Hebrew and means **GOD IS HELP**!!
