Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. ><> Knowing it is one thing...putting it into practice is another. ><> May the Lord truly bless and keep you all! So I can't say that your distortion of submission is wrong because I don't know you? If you could take correction for anything we would not be in this. How he cares about his neighbors, how he is respected by his neighbors, etc...." So you made the guy feel comfortable being a sinner? Wonderful. Where do you ever see evangelism play out like this in scripture? In scripture, we see sin being confronted. We don't see believers telling unbelievers how great they are so that maybe they will be persuaded because you think they are as good as they think themselves to be. Post Reply

Psa 141:5 Let the righteous smite me; [it shall be] a kindness: and let him reprove me; [it shall be] an excellent oil, [which] shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also [shall be] in their calamities. 2Cr 6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. And in the middle of these verses to follow is "Kindness"... 2 Pe 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 [[[ And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. ]]] 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
