Justification...

Abraham is the first person the Bible describes as being JUSTIFIED. This does not mean that he was the first child of God, only that this is the first recorded case in the Bible giving us to example of the principle JUTIFICATION by faith, and the same principle God uses in justifying the ungodly/sinners. God justified Abraham as being righteous, BEFORE God had given the law.

Based on Romans chapters 3-4

(1) How then are we justified?

(2) Explain Abraham's JUSTIFICATION?

Justification...

To ET:

I happen to be concerned about what you are believing.

I happen to be concerned by a number of times where you have stated that Repentance

and not Yeshua/Jesus saves you from the wrath of God.

You have stated that YOUR Bible,Not the Word of God;Your Bible Says

"That if I repent of my sins that he is faithful and just to forgive me ,etc

Here are a few of the things which you have written and placed here for everyone here to read.

Repnetance will bring about God's forgivenness and He will hold back His anger, (From the wrath of God posting)

Because my Bible tell me that if I REPENT of my sins, God is faithful and just, and He will forgive me of all my sins, and He will cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Jesus came preazchcing REPNT OF YOUR SINS FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS HERE! And Jesus died so that we might have a right to repent before God of our sins, and be forgiven.(Wrath of God posting)

I don't care or give a johnbrown what name you use to identify God or Jesus, you can call HIm Yahweh, Messiah, Emmanuel, Jehovah, or Adhonia... IF YOU HAVE NOT REPENTED OF YOUR SINS YOU ARE STILL A SINNER! And ONLY in His name will or can you be saved through REPENTANCE. Grace doesn't save you until you repent of sins.(Wrath of God posting)

I guess Pauls was not saved seeing that He called Himself (present tense Greek) Chief of Sinners.

1Ti 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

1Ti 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Notice what is written in verse14,GRACE, Faith and Love in Yeshua, not repentance.

Again more of your writings:

Our faith counts us as righteous before God. Jesus fulfilled the law, but He did not destroy the law, and our faith, becasue we believe in what Jesus did for us on the cross, and that when we repent of our sins God is faithful to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness, this fiath in Jesus Christ for the forgivenness of our sins establishes the law. ( Justification posting-22 June)

That is not the Gospel, this is the works of man,The work of Christ has no AND THAT WHEN WE REPENT.

It is Finished..End of story. No if ANDS,buts or doubts about it;IT IS FINISHED.

If Repentance is the means of forgiveness, then why was it necessary for Yeshua to shed His blood and die.

Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Another of your writings:

Heres something to compare and contrast with Calvin and Arminius theories... Jesus's five points and salvation no one discusses

1. Repent.

2. Faith,

3. Believe with your heart,

4.Confession of your Faith by delcaring the name of Jesus Christ with your mouth.

5. boooom!... Salvation takes place.

With everything that I have read and I have read your posts, you write or post the Scriptures:But then you immediately say afterwards:

That we are to repent in order to be forgiven.

We are to repent in order to be saved.

We confess and are saved.

We are to repent,we are to repent, we are to repent:

You keep returning back to the Law,works and Egypt.

Jesus kept the Law so that we do not have to.

Yes Yeshua kept the Law so that we do not have to keep the law; in order to be saved,or forgiven .

This is because we are not able to keep the Law.

James says:Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

This sounds like Heresy and Antinomianism, but this really is the Gospel of Gods Grace in Christ.

Main Entry: antinomian

Pronunciation: ˌan-ti-ˈnō-mē-ən

Function: noun

Etymology: Medieval Latin antinomus, from Latin anti- + Greek nomos law

Date: 1565

1 : one who holds that under the gospel dispensation of grace the moral law is of no use or obligation because faith alone is necessary to salvation

2 : one who rejects a socially established morality.

Because I have been saved, and forgiven by Yeshua, through FAITH;The Holy Spirit empowers me to trust Yeshua to

save me from the wrath of God.

I do not repent to be saved,I repent because I have been saved in Christ.

I also am empowered with the Holy Spirit to not want to sin.

The Scriptures say:The just shall live by His/Her FAITH.

ET:

I will not trust in my repenting to save me form the wrath of God,or from my sin.

I would rather trust the Lord Yeshua to save and protect me from the wrath of El-Shaddai/God Almighty...

Pro 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Psa 27:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psa 27:2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

Psa 27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

Psa 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Psa 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

ET:I Love you;i Love everyone here(especially PJ)

I hope you will be trusting Yeshua to save and protect you from the wrath of God;not repentance.

I hope you and everyone here will be having a Blessed and safe week.

Agape' and Charis:

George

ps.PJ may not understand much;he may not articulate his words properly.

PJ,may not have good Exegesis skills,His reading in context may be bad.

PJ's attitude and character may be rough, yet not one of us on this site or in this life is perfect.

Positionally we are perfect, yet until we put on Immortality, encourage PJ and others unto Love, faith and

Good works.

Php 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

Php 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Php 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Php 2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

I say this for myself more than anyone in this life.

Shalom and Chesed

George
