If anyone here is interested in the Sabbath or Biblical Holy Days then feel free to write for fellowship. Please don't flood this topic with books on why the Sabbath or Holy Days are obsolete. I'm not trying to start a debate. Please respect other people's denomination and beliefs. Even if you think they are wrong. Agree to disagree and leave it at that. ** THE GREAT BIBBLE BELIEVING CHRISTIAN PACIFISTS IN THE PAST 2,000 YEARS**
The Bible believing pacifists in the past 2,000 years have set a great example for all Christians throughout the past centuries. After Marin Luther broke away from the Roman Catholic church the the German country broke away from the Roman Catholic Church and then there was a period of almost total war between the Roman Catholics in France and the Protestants in Germany for 100 years.
There were many good Christians in Germany that were Christians before the Protestants such as the Amish, Menonites, Brethren and Anabapists. They believed in the teachings of Jesus and were greatly persecuted by the Protestants in Germany and many were put in jail and killed because they refused to join the army and become professional killers.
And so these Bible believing Christians fled to Holland and waited for ships to take them to America where they could follow the commands of Jesus in peace. There have been many great Christian preachers in the past like D.L.Moody who founded the famous Moody Bible college and Charles Spurgeon. Moody was responsible for thousands of Northern Bapists not joining the evil Civil War and killing Southern Baptists.
Christian pacifists understand that every country will have armies and they do not assemble protests against their country's armies. Christian Bible believing pacifists do not interfere police actions which discipline and imprison evil unbelievers. Pacifists just choose to obey God's word and avoid signing a Satanic enlistment Oath and becoming professional killers. Instead they believe in sending missionaries to all the countries of the world which try to love and convert their enemies and teach them to obey all the Divine Commandments of the New Covenant!
Looks like Littlest David believes like Teddyhugger that Jesus made no changes to the Old Testament changes listed below. It is interesting to note the LittlestDavid does not exegete or answer any of the Divine commandments listed below!!

In the OT God ordered Israel to kill their enemies many times and God helped them do it. However in the NT Jesus commands in Luke 6:27-29: "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also."
Matthew 5:43,44: Jesus says, "You have heard that is was said, {in the OT} 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you. love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven!!"
Whereas in the OT in Leviticus 26:7,8: God said to Israel, "You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the **SWORD** before you. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the **SWORD** before you!"
Numbers 25:16,17" The Lord said to Moses, "Treat the Midianites as enemies and kill them!"
Numbers 32:20,21: Moses said to them, "if you will do this--if you will arm yourselves before the Lord for battle and if all of you who are armed cross over the Jordan before the Lord until He has driven out His enemies out before Him!!"
Deuteronomy 6:18,19: Do what is right and good in the Lord's sight, that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land the Lord has promised on oath to your ancestors, **THRUSTING OUT ALL YOUR ENEMIES BEFORE YOU**, as the Lord said!
Deuteronomy 23:14: For the Lord your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you!
Deuteronomy 28:7 The Lord will grant that your enemies who go up against you will be defeated before you!
Deuteronomy 30:7: The Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you!
Another OT command in Exodus 21:23-25 "If there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."

What is the OT command concerning *VOWS* and *OATHS*?? Numbers 30:2: Moses said, "This is what the Lord commands: When a man makes a *VOW* to the Lord or takes an *OATH* to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do everything he said!"
But what are the NT commands concerning making *VOWS* and **OATHS*??
James 5:12: "ABOVE ALL, my brothers, do not swear--not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your "Yes" be yes, and your "No," no, or you will be condemned.!!"
Matthew 5:33-37: Jesus says, "You have heard that it was said to your people long ago {In Numbers 30:2 above}, 'Do not break your oath, but keep the oaths you have made to the Lord.' BUT I tell you, Do not swear at all....Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No, 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one!!"

And holy spirit inspired the 8 writers of the 27 books of the New Testament to write**EVERTHING JESUS TOLD HIM TO WRITE**!!

The Pinocchio Prophetic falsely misquotes what I wrote. I said I will refute each of the Pinocchio’s abuse of scripture one at a time not in one single lengthy post, at least for now.
But while I’m at, let me refute the Pinocchio the Prophetic 7744 abuse of the Old Testament.
Pinocchio falsely claims the Old Testament teaches only about killing ones enemies.
Let’s take a look at the fuller Old Testament context the Pinocchio Prophetic doesn’t want you to see.
Loving your enemies in the Old Testament
Proverbs 25:21: If your enemies are hungry, give them bread to eat; and if they are thirsty, give them water to drink.
When you come upon your enemy’s ox or donkey going astray, you shall bring it back. When you see the donkey of one who hates you lying under its burden and you would hold back from setting it free, you must help to set it free. (Exod 23:4-5)
This king wanted to kill his enemies but the true prophet of God told him: “You shall not strike them down. … Set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go to their master.’ So the king prepared for them a great feast, and when they had eaten and drunk, he sent them away, and they went to their master.’ (See 2 Kgs 6:21-22)
So obviously the Pinocchio Prophetic teaches falsely about the Old Testament

You are sooooo right David that the Old Testament teaches clearly to loving our enemies found in Proverbs 25:21; Exodus 23:4-5; and 2 Kings 6:21-22 to name ONLY those verses for now.... WOW! Thank you!
So tell us Richard the false misleading teacher, why YOU do not posts these Old Testament verses about LOVING our enemies??? Is it because these verses do not meet your false pacifist beliefs and agenda???

What is the OT command concerning *VOWS* and *OATHS*?? Numbers 30:2: Moses said, "This is what the Lord commands: When a man makes a *VOW* to the Lord or takes an *OATH* to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not beak his word but must do everything he said."
But what are the NT commands concerning making *VOWS* and **OATHS*??
James 5:12: "ABOVE ALL, my brothers, do not swear--not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your "Yes" be ye and your "No," no, or you will be condemned.!!"
Matthew 5:33-37: Jesus says, "You have heard that it was said to your people long ago {In Numbers 30:2 above}, 'Do not break your oath, but keep the oaths you have made to the Lord.' Moody was responsible for thousands of Northern Bapists not joining the evil Civil War and killing Southern Baptists.
