The Bible, the justice system and common sense dictates a person cannot testify on their own behalf. Therefore the Bible cannot testify on its own behalf.------------------------------ Since the New Testament did not exist at the time of its own writing, it is impossible for anything in the New Testament to testify about the New Testament. ----------------------------------- The Bible isn't a Book, but a collection of books by different authors. Therefore authors may testify for another book as long as they weren't the author of that book------------------- Where legitimate testimony exists, what is being testified to? For example Psalm 119 may testify about Torah; "the word is perfect" but that does not equate to inerrant, but rather, perfect for the job it is intended for.----------------------------
The bottom line is the Bible is a extremely valuable written record by and about the relationship with God.our physical and spiritual ancestors had. The Bible is a God inspired tool designed to bring us into relationship with the "Living Word" rather than bring us into relationship with a Paper Pope.

2 Timothy 3:16 was written before the New Testament was written and complied. Therefore Paul was writing about the Old Testament.

This was possible in Israel since it is about the same latitude of warm South Carolina. But anyone in the frigid parts of the earth must freeze to death in the winter since electricity would not be invented until over 2,000 years after this commandment was given!!

Going from that place, Jesus went into their synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to being charges against Jesus, they asked Him, "IS IT LAWFUL TO HEAL ON THE SABBATH?" Jesus said to the, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath?" Jesus said to them, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? Therefore it is lawful to do good {*WORK*} on the Sabbath!"

Then Jesus said, What comes out of a man is what makes him **UNCLEAN**. For within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come rom inside and make a man **UNCLEAN**!"
Colossians 2:16,17: Do dot let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard a special festival, a New Moon celebration or a **SABBATH DAY**! These are a **SHADOW** of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found **IN CHRIST**!!

The biggest con that someone can fall for is to start listening to anyone telling them that God's Word isn't as He says it is. That was the serpent's con in the beginning, and we know the result back then, so no reason to fall for it now.
Gen 3:2-5 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
In fact, that is still Satan's game. We see him challenging other aspects of the Bible, including other OT scripture.
Matt 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Matt 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Satan wasn't pulling that out of nowhere, he was literally speaking from Psalm, but trying to be deceitful about it.
Psa 91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Additionally, David was one of the examples we see in the OT of someone being directly provoked by Satan, so it's no surprised that he would be using such a quote.
1 Ch 21:1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.
Our great God and Savior Jesus Christ even changed the Old Testament law of loving your neighbor as yourself!!
John 13;34,35: Jesus says, "A **NEW COMMAND** I give you: **LOVE ONE ANOTHER, AS I HAVE LOVED YOU**! As I have loved you so you **MUST** love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples!"
John 15:12-14: Jesus says, "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: **TO LAY ONES'S LIFE FOR ONE'S FRIENDS**! You are My friends **IF** you do what I command!"
