Prophetic: Scripture is interpreted through the Spirit. If we share the same Spirit, then there is agreement.

It's trading ashes for ashes if you're dividing yourselves. One says left, one says right. Together they create the greatest possible distance between one another. However, if they meet in the middle, they are unified.
One of the greatest examples of this is found in Acts at the Pentecost when the Spirit was came to them as a Rushing Mighty Wind, and the people were sharing and unified.

When you join the military and become a professional killer you must make a **VOW** that you will obey all the commands of your commanding officer. And so if He commands you to drop an Atomic Bomb that will kill about 100,000 civilians including about 25,000 innocent children you must obey this command!!!
The following **OATH** is given by a officer in the US army to be repeated by all army recruits while they raise their right hand:

What are the NT commands concerning making *VOWS* and **OATHS*??

Richard, the reason you are so confused about scripture interpretation is because you use your own private method.
BTW, isn’t there a Bible verse about that?? But I digress.
Of course Richard must apply his own private method because it yields the results he needs to support his false interpretations.
I’ve tried many times to help Richard by offering some helpful Bible interpretation hints like the following
Number 1
All qualified Bible interpreters reference the original languages that was used by Holy Spirit when he inspired holy men to first write.
Number 2
All qualified Bible students of scripture refer to the historic meanings of words and idioms of the original languages
Number 3
All qualified Bible interpreters understand the grammar of the original languages
Number 4
All qualified Bible interpreters do not neglect to fully understand the meaning of a particular verse of scripture by first referencing its fuller context and it’s narrative
It’s obvious our own “pick and pack prophetic” Richard hardly understands biblical interpretation. This is especially obvious by Richard’s habit of yanking various unrelated verses of scripture from all over.
Richard seems to start out with a false idea then looks for a suitable jumble of verses from the Bible that appear, at first glance, to prove his fictional eisegesis.
For example, Richard doesn’t bother to check the context, the historic narrative, distinctive idiomatic expressions and the meaning of the original language.
Regrettably, Richard’s private selection and false interpretation of verses has lead him astray
This is made apparent by Richards false rendering of Jesus and James teaching on swearing and oath taking.
Both Jesus and James were obviously addressing a Jewish audience.
The false Jewish traditionalists, addressed by Jesus and James, were guilty of ignoring the law of Moses for the sake of their false traditions. One way they ignored the commands of God in the law of Moses regarded oaths.
The false teachers taught it as ok to break an oath if it was sworn a certain way. Here’s a hint, it is addressed by someone very special in the Bible.
