"John 15:1-5,16: Jesus says, "I am the true vine, and My Father is the gardener, He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear **FRUIT** He prunes so that it will be even more **FRUITFUL**. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in Me as I also remain in you. No branch can bear **FRUIT** by itself; it must remain in the vine, Neither can you bear **FRUIT** unless you remain in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear **MUCH FRUIT**; apart from Me you can do nothing... Ephesians 2:8,9: For it is by **GRACE** you have been saved, through **FAITH**—and this **NOT FROM YOURSELVES**, it is the **GIFT OF GOD**—not by works. So that no one can boast. Colossians 1:9,10: We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may please Him in every good work, **BEARING FRUIT** in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God!
Matthew 13:23: Jesus says, "But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the **WORD AND UNDERSTANDS IT**. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."
Luke 8:15: Jesus says, "But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the **WORD**, retain it, and by perseverance produce a crop."

Revelation 22:12 Jesus says, “Behold I am coming soon! My **REWARD** is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done!”
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, “The Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels and **THEN** He will **REWARD** each person according to what he has done!”

Wow! You are something else Grace! So you want a HYPOTHETICAL answer to your HYPOTHETICAL question??? Rather than the FACTS of IS, IS, IS a person saved by obeying the law, (and) then why did Messiah have to die. You are soooo hung up on HYPOTHETICAL IF question that you don't want reality of IS, IS, IS the factual question answered in TRUTH! OK, we can do the hypothetical "IF" in the different translations below if you like.
Galatians 2:21 (ISV) "I do not misapply God's grace, for IF, IF, IF righteousness comes about by doing what the Law requires, then the Messiah died for nothing."
Galatians 2:21 (KJV) "I do not frustrate the grace of God: for IF, IF, IF righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."
Galatians 2:21 (CEV) "I don't turn my back on God's gift of undeserved grace. IF, IF, IF we can be acceptable to God by obeying the Law, it was useless for Christ to die."
Obedience to the law IS NOT required to be "saved." PERIOD! Obedience to the law IS, IS, IS required to be found RIGHTEOUS when He returns for His Saints! The LAW only condemns (to death sinners), never "saves" anyone from their sins!
So the Messiah died for the sins of all (that break His LAW and are sorry/repent of breaking it) on the flat earth but did not die to do away with the LAW! Got it now?

Page 2 of the same thread, KJO writes - Now to does the law save? No. You cannot be holy to BE saved. That is works. It happens when you are justified WHEN you are saved.

Page 2 of this same thread, Teddy writes - "salvation, we know does not come by keeping the law" "There IS NO Bible verse or verses that says you can be saved by obeying all the Torah Law which is also the 10 commandments in it. The Law NEVER has, nor will it EVER save anyone.
