What is the singular light in Genesis before the sun and moon were made?
The Word of God brings light. Spiritual illumination. God spoke and there was light which he divided from the darkness before the sun and moon were made. God's Word is a light to our dark minds which points to Jesus Christ.
God being invisible made all things manifest and visible through his Word...likewise, when we have faith in the invisible we look beyond the visible and what our natural eyes show us. A reversal .
When do His Saints go to "church," his congregation, His festivals, his appointed times by His clocks. The assembly of His Saints in "solemnity," in reverance "solemn" in His "synagogues" of worship and His time? Is the weekly and annual sabbaths a "sign" of His people that obey Him?
The KJV translates Strong's H4150 in the following manner: congregation (150x), feast (23x), season (13x), appointed (12x), time (12x), assembly (4x), solemnity (4x), solemn (2x), days (1x), sign (1x), synagogues (1x)
Always a sign between the people and Yahweh. A covenant. By keeping the Sabbath they show he is creator of heaven and earth and of themselves. That he is LORD and GOD to them an no other god. It is a marriage between them.
Are you beginning to see the literal making of His clocks, tells us when a day begins and ends (sun) and what tells us when His moonth begins and ends? They work in concert together like a marriage? When the Saints keep His time, it is a "sign" they are honoring Him as the TRUE "creator of heaven and earth" as you said. But he did not Create mankind until day 6.

Ahhh but we can choose to be late (for dinner lol) for His appointed times by His clocks and that is exactly what "churches" today are claiming, that they can make TIME or APPOINT another day to worship Yahweh on! Is that true and are man's traditional days of worship an abomination to Him? Certainly He has not sanctified or made holy man's OTHER days of worship. Correct?
The whole present day Gregorian "calendar" is nothing more than a sun "calendar" for sun worship! It was designed to do away with Yahweh's moon clock. Total disregard of His one time piece that tells us when a month begins and ends! His seasons/mo'eds!
Yahweh has a lunar/solar calendar described in the Bible and all His people/saints keep His calendar!

In the New Testament **EVERY DAY** is the **LORD'S DAY** especially **TODAY**!!
Acts 2:44-46: All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to everyone who had need. **EVERY DAY** they continued to meet together!!
Hebrews 3:12,13: See to it brothers and sisters that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But **ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER **DAILY**, as long as it is called **TODAY** so that none of you may be hardened by sins deceitfulness!
Exodus 31:14-16: Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death; those who do **ANY WORK** on that day must be **CUT OFF** from their people... Whoever does **ANY WORK** on the Sabbath day is to be put to death!
Exodus 35:2,3; Whoever does **ANY WORK** on the Sabbath must be put to death. Do not **LIGHT A FIRE** in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.
This was possible in Israel since it is about the same latitude of warm South Carolina. But anyone in the frigid parts of the earth must freeze to death in the winter since electricity would not be invented until over 2,000 years after this commandment was given!!
Matthew 12:1-12: Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, the said to Him, "Look your disciples are doing what is **UNLAWFUL ON THE SABBATH**. Jesus answered, "Haven't you heard of what David did when he and his companions were hungry? He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated bread--which was not lawful for them to do, but only for the priests... If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the innocent. For the Son of Man is **LORD OF THE SABBATH**!" Going from that place, Jesus went into their synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to being charges against Jesus, they asked Him, "IS IT LAWFUL TO HEAL ON THE SABBATH?" Jesus said to the, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath?" Jesus said to them, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? Therefore it is lawful to do good {*WORK*} on the Sabbath!"
John 5:16-18: So because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute Him. In his defense Jesus said to them. "My Father is always at His work to this very day, and **I TOO AM **WORKING**!" For this reason they tried all the more to kill Him; not only was **HE BREAKING THE SABBATH**, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 9:16: The Pharisees said of Jesus, "This man is not from God , for He does **NOT KEEP THE SABBATH**!"
There is not one commandment by Jesus to keep the OT Sabbath laws. Jesus eliminated the death penalty for doing **ANY WORK** on the Sabbath. Jesus commanded that it is OK to do **GOOD WORKS** on the Sabbath. Jesus claimed that **HE WAS WORKING** on the Sabbath. Jesus was with His disciples as they were breaking the Sabbath by gathering grain to eat on the Sabbath. When Jesus told the rich man which of the 10 OT laws to keep He did bit include the Sabbath. There is not even one New Testament command to keep the Sabbath but there are many HT commands to keep the other 9 commandments. And Colossians 2:17 says to not let anyone judge for keeping or not keeping the Sabbath.
About 500 of the 613 Old Testament laws have been eliminated in the New Testament. There are about 100 OT laws that are repeated in the New Testament. Then there are some OT laws that are obviously still in effect that are not mentioned or banned in the New Testament such as not wearing tattoos, not having sex with animals and selling your daughters as prostitutes.
Since Paul says over 20 times that we are **NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE OT LAWS** there are many who teach that all of Paul's books are of Satan and since Luke and Peter confirm Paul the books of Luke and Acts and Peter are also of Satan and half of the other books in God's Word who disagree with their ridiculous doctrines are also of Satan.
We know for a fact He created the sun on day 1. So what did He create on day 4?
Its the answer to the atheist that thought he was so smart in claiming Yah was dumb and said He made two suns when He did not! The atheist would laugh out loud, you see?
