It should be cautioned that proof texting is far too easy for anyone to do, and with any of these verses the context should be considered. Far too often, context is ignored and erroneous interpretations are formed. So, use these verses, but corroborate their contexts. PJ said: "Also that deny's the fact the father is not a respecter of person's."
Gen 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
Gen 4:2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
Gen 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
Gen 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
Gen 4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
PJ is attempting to show here that God is a respecter of persons. Perhaps, the two of you should try and sort this one out privately by email.
You wanted an example well here is one of very evil intent. You are endeavoring to create strife all you can.
I know God is not a respecter of person's because he said he was not.
Btw Bob one of the continual patter that has been on this site is there is one that comes along and they say they are not a Calvinist and come in and do just as you do and it escalates until they act as though they would bring harm to some if they could, it is nothing new.
You have the choice to change the pattern.
No one said Jude was a Calvinist, it is extremely unkind and Christlike this continual saying people said things they never said.
I never said anyone called Jude a Calvinist. I was giving some perspective....If you are going to claim one group is bullying by telling PJ to stop ruining threads...then why not apply it to Jude?
If I posted things similar to this(and I have) I am called a bully...
"ENOUGH ALREADY !!!!....Oh my Goodness Gracious LORD have Mercy!!!!...sounds just like a child Ranting because they didn't get their own way......xo"
"We discussed this Having a Real Biblical Discussion on a differant thread that it would be Good to Discuss the Differances so we may better Understand each other and Learn from each other...Unfortunatly we can not Control the [[[ Controling ]]] of the dirrection a person takes it...I'm truely sorry EVERYONE that this CONTINUALLY happens...xo"
Why the double standard? BTW, I agree with these posts by Jude. Basically you guys are calling people bullies because of their theological views.
Anyway, this has gone on long enough. Either you two can participate in the thread as it was mean to be, or you won't be responded to. You can talk about how bad you two have been treated, privately in messages. Don't ruin threads with that nonsense.

I wholeheartedly agree. As a relative newcomer to these forums, it's easy to see why I have stayed away so long.
