Did you hear what the man, said about the man that trys to communicate spiritual things being logical, or employing logic in understanding spiritual matters.

Logic is like a log in the eye you see, or do you really see with the log in the eyes.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

One more thought how is it that logic, a product of the mind is any greater after a man is saved than before he is saved.

For the bible does teach the word of God is believed with the heart and as it is received in the heart it grows.

By the way when the bible speaks of faith, bible faith is of the heart, the spirit of man!!!

Shard ~ If the Spirit teaches convicts you [ to do ] one thing, It logically means not to do the opposite.

The Holy Spirit Convicts WRONG deeds, works, acts, choices, sin...The Reasoned Choice would be to NOT do it again...xo

You're playing word games. Convicting to not do, is at the same time, convicting TO DO, and you still are dancing around the issue. Where is logic a synonym for the carnal man in scripture?

Haha dancing! Maybe it's a term the younger generation uses, or maybe it's just me. Yes I know the word isn't in scripture. I wasn't asking for you to show me the word.

I don't put God in a box, so trying to logically find a way out is not an issue. Will I accept that I put God in a box because you say that when I think scripture is logical, I put him in a box? No I will not accept that. I've asked several times, how logic itself puts God in a box.

Ok, tell me this, why hasn't there been given any logical answers to the questions I posed on page 3?

What answers would logic give?

ET, because that's what God chose. One doesn't need to explain how logic would answer the questions. Is it logical that God would choose this way those things? Yes because God is in control so He can do whatever He wishes. You are making logic something harder than it is. Logic isn't knowledge. It isn't an answer to all man's questions. It's just a reality.

LSU, is not logic deductive and indeductive reasoning and conclusion as to what makes it a truth or non truth, or possiblity or or not? If so, then if God's word is truth, how can man use logical reasoning to prove or disprove His meaning of what He says? Is not God all truth and the source of truth?

How then does logical reasoning fit in with God's truth if you are unable to give a logical reason as to the answers of the two questions?

*** Go back to Genesis 3:1-6...satan through his Logic...Convinced....Eve...that it is...OK...to eat of the Forbidden Fruit...

Genesis 3

1~Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2~And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3~But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. [[[ 4~And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5~For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. ]]] 6~And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

See what Logic did to Mans/Womens Spirit ???xo
