Some would have you to believe that the father has created evil, allows evil, uses evil to afflict his people.

Nu 13:32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

After all that the father promised his people, he would do for them and give them, he allowed fear to grip them and give out the evil report and all the Israelites but two died in the desert.

The voice of man stands in the corner whispering remember, we said we will call it mercy, anything short of hell.

Jesus said he came to destroy the works of the devil.

The voice of man says it is the will of the father, the will of the devil that is!!

Did Jesus say the devil would flee from him?

The voice of man says even though this sickness is the will of God I am going to the doctor to overcome the will of God, lol

That is a good question Dennis and the answer is very clear, I believe.

Jesus also said in 2nd Cor 4:4

2nd Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The Greek word which god comes from in this scripture is the same one used in referring to God.

Sorry Dennis my last post seemed to launch it self:

Lk. 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

Jesus was led of the Holy Ghost into the wilderness to be tempted of Satan, this was part of what Jesus came to the earth to do and that was to resist the devil and not fall prey to temptation as Adam and Eve did.

You can see what satan said here, it is all his because it has been delivered unto me.

It could not have been a temptation, if it was not the truth.

Dennis the point is not to exalt satan, but in addressing all the unbelief blamed on the lord, which is satan's work.

I think all of us should say what we mean and mean what we say. Lol Maybe a little more resisting the devil so he will flee is needed.

Deborah,

I meant what I was trying to say about God being soveriengn and Satan beign subordinate to Him. I did not express it well and clarified myself. Intentional misleading and a poor choice of words are two different things. I am sorry for any misunderstanding of this.

Thanks for having my back, Two.

Either way Margo Satan is not subordinate to the lord.

Your reference to

Job will not fly/ Just in case you didn't know it is not scriptural to have one passage to establish truth, and if you will ask the lord to help you he will show you what happened with Job.
