Is this something we have all just assumed? Is this something that has been taught so much that we take it as incontestable? Is there another meaning that agrees with the Gospel? I think so..... Posted : 16 Dec, 2010 01:27 PM So Trucker, is what you are trying to get across to us is that the act repentance was our first acknowledging we were sinners in need of a savior in that God revealed this to us, we believed Christ died and paid the cost of our sin by sacrificing Himself in our place and we by faith received forgiveness and the gift of life in Him? So now living in Grace it is not a matter of repentance, but of relationship with God as His children, seeking His face, learning to know His character through trials and difficulties, stumbling and reaching out to him, confessing our sins and being forgiven.... lost track of my thought apologies... feel free to expand or correct where necessary y'all! Even faith to trust Yeshua comes from YHWH. Yeshua says that He is Alpha and Omega. He is the begining of everything in the creation and He is the end of everything in this creation. Without Yeshua we can do nothing,not faith,confees or repent. By the way,we confess our sin(s)because we have already been forgiven. The paschal lamb had been slain,the blood poured out,and the sacrifice recieved and seated in the right hand of YHWH. All this was accomplished in the mind of YHWH before He created anything; Yet Yeshua became a man and had gone through the process of redeeming His own. We are going through the process of what is written in the Word of GOD. I hope this helps.. Agape' and Charis: St.George ps: ABBA never sees the believers,nor does He call them as sinners saved by Grace. He sees the believers as Saints,sons of the Most High God,in Yeshua. Do we see ourselves according to our condition (sinners),or do we see ourselves according to our position in Yeshua-Sons,Kings and Priests,The righteousness of GOD in Christ. Yet the next time I write anything,could I write in Hebrew or Aramaic.
