Does the way we worship matter?

Gen. 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

4And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

5But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

6And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

7If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Number one, normally they believe the bible as it is written.

Number two they receive the Holy Spirit according to the word of God

No matter what any one says the tag's come from men, because men want to exhibit there own will, no tag man puts on anything will ever have any merit with the lord.

The obvious is the tags, or classifications bring strife, and then just as the word says every confusion and every evil worketh.

Yes, I would call Catholics "brother" or "sister". Despite their obvious error...and I do mean obvious(it's not some minor misinterpretation of scripture)...we believe in the same God, and as long as they are living up to what God has shown them, then I believe they'll be in heaven. Have to remember, protestant denominations came out of Catholicism, and they are still coming out...which tells me that there must be good people still coming to God in that church. Maybe it's just a step on their path to God...but even Catholics believe God sent His Son to die for their sins. They "believe" in Christ, just like I do...so as long as they're honestly following what they have received from God's word by faith and as long as they aren't "burying their talents"... I believe they'll make it. Who am I to say they won't? Can't see the future.

Of course I consider roman catholic people my brothers and sisters in Christ...

However, I strongly and heavily debate their doctrine regarding statues, saints and the Holy Virigin (amongst others)

So I do not reject roman catholic people but I reject roman catholic doctrine and I also have severe problems with its clergy!

I am also aware that individually, catholic people can be just be as inspiring and examplous as protestants or any other christian. I have seen catholic people set up charity projects and defend the rights of the poorests and those who cannot defend themselves, that really earn all respect.

Part of my family is catholic, most of them are not saved and do what you said DarrelO. I have met some catholics who are saved and follow Jesus. For your information when I got saved I received hate mail from my family- catholics. If the love of christ abounds in us do we hold the actions of a few against the many???????? Yes, I have no use for those who slander another church.Like those who attack calvinist. I consider them the workers of satan and treat them that way.

What is hate mail???? little letters mailed to you in the mail. You know by the mailman. They say- You will die and go to hell. I was a 20 year old punk who just got mad when I would get them. Now I report these kind of people to the authorities with no apoligies. So, I did report those who made the anti-calvinist

slander. Those people are being watched. Dennis
