They lose everything they have, including their 10 children. Then on top of that, Job�s body gets smoted with sore boils... Job2:9 (KJV) Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. Why would the wife of Job speak like this? Post Reply

I was just bringing it to your attention so we can hold each other, and ourselves, accountable. Although it may be something small, as Christians, we should still be wary of letting Satan a toe hold. I am the only one here that knows the Bible and am my mission is to convince everyone I have the only right interpretation of the Bible because everyone besides me is the son of Satan! And in every thread that gets started I am going to tell everyone as many times has I can, in as many stupid ways as I can come up with, how much more I know the Bible over everyone else. I mean look at me ain't it obvious I am the only one that has it right here. Can't you figure this out yet? I want to show off to everyone how smart I am in interpreting the Bible by posting my off topic insulting comments to bring all the attention to me, because everyone else is wrong if they don't interpret it like I do. And even if they do interpret it like I do they are wrong because I didn't say it first. I mean look at me I know all there is to know. I am going to have SS printed on all my shirts, for "Super Spiritual"! Are you sick of this yet? I could go on. I tell ya I am as sick of the real thing or more so than you got reading this. Insulting people is not what I do, or enjoy, but if someone is not going to call out the original insulter, I will. Someone has and backed off and I will back off to, I ain't beating my head against that brick wall. But said person has not figured it out yet and continues in arrogance and ignorance to insult and spew his hypocrisy and frankly I am sick of it. I do not need, want or accept forgiveness from this person, I am asking him for respect to others here and to myself! If that is ever extended I will humbly accept it as I am sure others that have been insulted by him will as well. If said person can't agree to keep his thoughts to himself and pick his shots to proclaim his beliefs instead of every single day on every single post telling everyone how great he is because he knows so much (little) more than everyone else here, then the mocking will.....well we'll see. And if you are so blind to not see it, I do not know what to tell ya. PS: I radically disagree with another person's theological stand on this forum and I would come out and say he is dead wrong and then be willing to dive into that theological debate with him because he has shown some respect, intelligence and a little sarcasm at times that I do not mind, and this has earned my respect for him, I still think he is wrong but I can and would shake hands with this gentleman and walk away as friends. So it is not because of disagreement I do what I do, it is because of him being out of line and no one willing to acknowledge what he does with out all the bleeding hearts saying, where is the love man? Okay PhillipJohn tell us the answer to your riddle: What would happen if you took a Calvinist believer in a room with a demon possessed person? Sorry SOS4EMAILFRIEND! My personal belief is the Devil somehow possessed her, or what ever a demon can do to a human, because the Devil was firing all the cannons he had to break Job and most men will tell ya haven boils over the whole body and losing all your money is not nearly as bad as a nagging wife. I would like to give my opinion on the meaning of these words. Check it out and tell me what you think. I first quote a small passage of the prologue, prior to the words of Job�s wife. Job2:3-6 And the LORD said unto satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause; and satan aswered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. But put forth thine hand now and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee for thy face. And the LORD said unto satan, behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. Again the words of Job�s wife Job2:9 Then said his wife unto him, 1. Dost thou still retain thine integrity? 2. curse God, 3. and die By the cheerest coincidence Job�s wife is repeating what the LORD observed regarding Job�s integrity. God says: and still he HOLDETH FAST his integrity Also she wants Job to do what satan had predicted Job would do if the LORD would touch Job�s bone and his flesh: AND HE WILL CURSE THEE FOR THY FACE And then she says exactly what the LORD does not want to happen: and die while the LORD specifically determines: SAVE HIS LIFE I cannot help finding this all very intriguing. Everyone rubs each other the wrong way sometimes.I am not defending any single person. If we stick to the post- no fights ok.If you dislike somebody ignore them. does the wrod say to pray for them and give them a chance to repent. I have read all the anti- calvinist slander and do not like it. It shows how some people do not study the word other than to put down other churches. As for Jobs wife I think we can assume she choose to turn on god and job.Did not Job's friends do the same.Dennis Post Reply

Let's say for instance you where speaking of me, that I study the word to put down other denominations, do you realize how arrogant that is. Now if you watch my post you will never see me say anything against denominations, never Now as for Dennis he attacks who soever he will, as he wills, he slanders me continually, and that is ok, but I do not have to agree with him. Why do you need to put your ideas how to communicate on this thread and then invite people to private message you... would not it be a better idea to have done so yourself in the first place? As as of Job�s wife... you can assume what you want because this thread is closed as far as I am concerned.
