Should we avoid the SDA church?

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. Romans 16:17

The Seventh-Day Adventist denomination teaches many doctrines that are contrary to those taught by the Apostles. God's Word commands that we mark them as false teachers and separate from them.

This doesn't mean that all Sabbath keeping churches are wrong. Sabbath is still to be kept and there are churches out there that are teaching wholesome doctrine.

I'm not changing "Jesus". I just believe that Michael is Jesus and Jesus is God. There's too many similarities between them to think otherwise. If you think it's ok for the bible to refer to God as an "angel", then why is it such a big deal to think that Jesus could be referred to as an "archangel"..."the highest angel"?

"none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince"

"at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people"

"Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee."

"And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee:"

"Michael and his angels fought against the dragon"

"Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?"

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean."

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:"

"The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live."

"And the Angel of the LORD said to him, "Why do you ask My name, seeing it is Wonderful?"

"Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful"

"And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them"

13. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Daniel 10:12-13

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

13. But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18. And the Angel of the LORD said to him, "Why do you ask My name, seeing it is wonderful?

20. it happened as the flame went up toward heaven from the altar--the Angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar! When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground.

21. When the Angel of the LORD appeared no more to Manoah and his wife, then Manoah knew that He was the Angel of the LORD.

22. And Manoah said to his wife, "We shall surely die, because we have seen God!"
