Acts 17:10-12 10

As soon as it was night, the believers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.

The Bereans were considered more noble. Why? Because, they didn't just take Paul's words at face value. They studied the scriptures and checked what he said against them. They used their brains.

Reminds me of when Jesus said that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these(meaning children). Know what one of the things that children do? They ask questions. Lots of them. They also test things.

Hugs, you never answered any question i asked you about your messiah being a created being.

You never showed from either the Hebrew or Greek Scriptures where you believe Messiah is a creation of the Father.

You actually believe 7777 is teaching something from the Word, you better open the hatch on your sub, and get some air, your umderstanding of Scripture is getting worse.

Hugs, when will you ever star a post about your beliefs, you criticize and make remarks about those that share thetruth with you, yet you never put your beliefs out onthechat.

Hugs are you that ashamed to share your beliefs, maybe you do mot wamt to be criticized or corrected.

Teddyhugs is right about accepting more as the Bereans, and all of us have to realize, Moonlight shows how anyone can give verses, but what nobody can do is lose their life in a seductive, envy enducing, selfish breathing life we are delivered into, with satan waiting to devour us as soon as we be born, born again that is, as seen in the temptations satan began on Christ, and Jesus showed how the Apostles continued with Him in His temptations, and when He did not revile when reviled..

1 Peter 2:17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

I am learning too, to make more peace, even to the forward as said above in the verses, and I realize more, how this must be a powerful thing God wants us all to see and know, because satan seems to hate the idea of being more kinder, so it must mean the path to Heaven is more open for us, when He resists it, so we will be wise to stop the fighting, and accept even when the other is just accusing us, its more thankworthy with the Lord, right ?

Remember avoid foolish questions, is not loosing a debate, it is closer to winning it instead.

2 Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

If people existed forever in hell, they will never be peaceful there, their spirit cant let them be kind, be selfless, be content, these are what will be forever in Heaven, think about it, and when is it time to stop being offended.

Proverbs 4:16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.

Psalm 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Adam, false teachers like yourself suddenly start talking about “love” and “peace” when asked to verify what you teach. Some false teachers appeal to the “don’t judge me fallacy” when asked to give account.

The Berean’s were commended as “more noble” because they fact-checked Paul’s teaching. Paul didn’t accuse them of asking “foolish questions” nor did he suddenly run and hide behind “love”. Biblical love is transparent, it doesn’t runs and hide behind false love. Asking for verification is biblical!!

Adam, it’s clear that you and your disciple here don’t know biblical love because biblical love “rejoices in the truth”

Proverbs 20:3 It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

Proverbs 15:18 A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.

Proverbs 16:28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.

Proverbs 17:14 The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.

Proverbs 17:19 He loveth transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction.

Proverbs 22:10 Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.

Proverbs 26:20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.

Proverbs 26:21 As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.

Proverbs 28:25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat.

Proverbs 29:22 An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.

Proverbs 30:33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.

Proverbs 21:24 Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.

Adam, you do what most christians do, you make up a topic, then find as many Scripture as possible to back your topic.

Adam, you never give the context of the Scripture you post, you never give any definition of any words you post.

Adam, you are not being empowered by the Holy Spirit to teach, or even to edify.

Adam, learn some basics to understanding the Scriptures, as you lack what is necessary to understand the Word.

thanks, quiznos/littledavid/prophetic.

I will surely do as you suggest, as I see the laying down of all worldliness, and all selfishness, and all bitter words and exaltation from you guys/guy, I don't know if you are three in one or different, but the trinity is a similar way

I know Jesus Christ lays His life down, had nowhere to lay His head, persecuted, and accused and hated, and never spoke without being truthful, graceful, accurate and far away from generalising and without righteousness in the words.

I would listen to a Berean sort of more respectful person, if one speaks to me, show that to me quiznos littledavid, ex prophetic, if you think you can.

You’re welcome Adam, happy to oblige.

Not many false teachers offer their thanks in exchange for exposing their false teachings.

But here’s the proof you asked about in the verses below.

1 John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.

Do you still cling to you’re false doctrines of “sinless perfectionism” after reading that? If you do then the verse says you make God a liar and His word is not in you. Not my words, those are Gods words

Adam, would you so kind and loving as you claim you have been by explaining what you mean here.

QUOTE: “I would listen to a Berean sort of more respectful person, if one speaks to me, show that to me quiznos littledavid, ex prophetic, if you think you can.” END QUOTE

What do you mean by “respectful”? Do you mean the this “Berean sort” must agree with everything you say? Or do you mean you will change your mind about your false belief if shown scripture?
