NLT- A student is not greater than the teacher. A servant is not greater than the master. Colossians 1:2 ESV- To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father. NLT- We are writing to God’s holy people in the city of Colosse, who are faithful brothers and sisters[a] in Christ. May God our Father give you grace and peace. Genesis 1:26-27 ESV- Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” NLT- Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” Galations 4:7 ESV- So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God. There are several Pastors called by God and they teach the Word of God correctly. @Quiznois Stop critizing All pastors! Quiznos replies; Moon where in the Scriptures does GOD Almighty CALL, a person to be a pastor. Where in the Scriptures are the qualifications for a pastor. Post Reply

Moon, a discussion requires questions being asked then answered, is this not a discussion area on this site. I ask questions, and you throw tantrums or make accusations about what a person believes. I will answer the question as you do not know what is in the Word about the subject. First, a pastor is not that important, as there are no requirements for that NON PAID FUNCTION. Second, the ELDERS have the OVERSIGHT, to shepherd the flock of Messiah, notice ELDERS plural, not singular. 3. GOD Almighty GIVES, not calls men to be Elders and the people should be able to recognize those men that function in the capacity of elders-shepherd- overseer, as they meet the requirements set forth in 1st Timothy and Titus. Moon, since you are such a Biblical scholar, what is the FUNCTION of the NON PAID pastor/shepherd. Post Reply
