The answer is NO.
A person needs to repent of their UNBELIEF.
Mark, 1 verses 14-15
14Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, 15and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
Only after a person FAITHS into Messiah will they be able to repent.

Quiznos, what kind of Bible do you read? or what kind of church do you go to? It seems to me that one must ignore about 60% of the Holy Bible in order to follow the doctrine you preach.

Hey silver,
May i say, you and a host of people called christians do not seem to think through what the Scriptures say on simple doctrines such as SALVATION.
Do you remember the parable of the mustard seed:
after the seed was planted what happened to the seed, right the seed could not be located because what was in its place was a visible plant, much bigger than the original seed.
Lets say the seed is UNBELIEF and the tree is SIN, now if we were to trace this tree to its origins would we be able to find the root cause, yes, we could trace the sin all the way back to the biginning with Adam and Eve and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Everything has a beginning and an end, where does sin have its beginning?
