All I ask is to be able to discuss and have a conversation with other followers of Jesus without you harassing me, without you butting in and destroying the continuity of discussions.
Therefore, here is my offer:
Allow me to have conversation with others ONLY on the threads I start by staying completely off any thread I start and I give you my word, I will leave all your threads and posts alone in all other threads.
TOTH: I already told you that Jesus is lord and God whereas Chuckles believes Jesus is lord but is not God!!
TOTH: Jesus is called **LORD** over 200 times in the New Covenant of Faith and Love< However the name lord does not always mean God since Jesus is called Lord of lords as per Revelation 17:4. However Jesus is also called God **SEVEN TIMES** in the New Testament and Chuckles like Satan teaches that Jesus is not God.
Chuckles does not believe Jesus is God and believes the following Scripture is not inspired by God. Chuckles must also believe that the Gospel of John is not inspired by God since Jesus is called God **FOUR** times in the Gospel of John.
Isaiah 9:6: For unto us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor and **MIGHTY GOD**!
John 1:1-3,18: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Go, and the **WORD WAS GOD**. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that as been made...
No one has ever seen God, but the One and only Son, who is **HIMSELF GOD** and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made Him known!
John 20:27-29: Jesus said to the doubting Thomas, "Put your finger here in My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe!" Thomas said to Him, My Lord and **MY GOD**!" Then Jesus told him, Because you have seen Me, you have believed, blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed!" {And so since Chuckles does not believe he is not blessed by Jesus!!}
Hebrews 1:6,8: When God brings His firstborn into the world He says, "Let all God's angels **WORSHIP HIM**.... About the Son He says, "Your throne, **O GOD**, will last for ever and ever, a scepter of justice will be the scepter of **YOUR KINGDOM**!"
Titus 2:13,14: We wait for the **BLESSED HOPE**--the glorious appearing of our **GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR**, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify a people that are **HIS VERY OWN**, eager to do what is good!!
Revelation 17:14: They will wage war against the **LAMB**, but the **LAMB** will overcome them because He is **LORD** of lords and **KING** of kings--and with Him will be His **CALLED** **CHOSEN** and **FAITHFUL** followers!
TOTH: Do you believe that **JESUS IS GOD** or do you believe that Jesus is only a lord like Chuckles!!
TOTH: Do you believe that the 14 Epistles of Paul, Acts and Luke by Luke, 2nd Peter, Revelation, and the Gospel of John are not inspired by God like Chuckles??
TOTH: Do you believe that all born from above believers are **CALLED** and **CHOSEN** by God as per Revelation 17:14 above??
I see a united relationship of Father and Son, just as scripture tells us.
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Who is the great "I AM?"
Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
John 8:18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
John 20:28-29 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
- My belief in scripture has nothing to do with what Chuck does or doesn't believe. Neither do my beliefs demand needless confrontation with Chuck if we should disagree on something. Inspiration of scripture is also not determined or negated by human belief or disbelief. It simply is what it is, because God determined it.
2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
- I believe those two words, along with "faithful", are being used as adjectives to describe God's people.
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
This can also be considered applicable to any and all people because of God's promise.
John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
