The Bible is clear from cover to cover, evil spirits are identified by their actions. Demons are not identified by what they say. Even Satan used Scripture to tempt Jesus. Jesus latter said Satan was the father of lies. The easiest way is to watch what they do. If they are NOT loving, compassionate, kind, respectful, patient and putting the teachings of Jesus and the Father first, even though they quote Scripture, you can bet your dealing with a demon of religiosity. We have one here on this forum posting out of control on every single thread, EVEN when asked to stop by the Orginal Poster. I don't even have to mention his name, the evidence is abundant and convincing. Yes, there is a demon walking among us uncontrollably attacking every thread. See for yourself, watch here, he won't be able to control himself.
The oldest deceit in the book = "That's not what God really meant, or "You were misinformed" And no I'm not calling you "Satan", but if someone says I'm quoting scripture out of context, they should be willing to state what it is, and what the proper context is. If not, it's of zero interest to me. If they have something and it is shown, then I can examine it for myself and consider an alternative perspective.

Revelation is dependent on how you hear. Not a blanket statement for everyone who confesses Jesus.

God's Word clearly teaches that faith, salvation, the Holy Spirit and eternal life are all 100 percent **FREE GIFTS OF GOD** and that the two main incentives for doing good works is being thankful to God for these amazing **FREE GIFTS** and to **EARN HEAVENLY ETERNAL REWARDS** which God has promised His chosen saints for faithful and loving service. Whereas those who believe in **SINLESS PERFECTION** believe that we have to earn our salvation and eternal life by doing **GOOD WORKS** and being **SINLESS** and that the only eternal reward is gaining eternal life by what we do; and if we commit even one small sin after we are saved we will loose our salvation and eternal life. And so man and not God becomes the Author and Finisher of our salvation.
It's fine that you want to move forward one verse and then say I took it out of context. Next time though, jump backwards a bit too, as it clearly shows that it's talking about The Word.
It's the word of God that is the good seed being sewn.
Luke 8:15-17 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
Even in Hebrews, it tells us very directly that the Word reveals.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
This whole discussion here is about you telling me I hide behind scripture, and me telling you I see it as a compliment, because is not there to hide, but rather reveal.
Additionally, we're talking about good seed being sewn, which is knowledge of the word. (We can go through multiple scriptures that state this if we need to). Yet somehow you've gone from Luke 8 to Matthew 7, which ironically if we step back just one verse from what you quoted (Matt 7:21), it talks about things being revealed.
Matt 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The WORD is Jesus!

If you want to be rational for just a second. If you want to believe the "Word" is a Book, Then Jesus is NOT talking about the New Testament, because it didn't yet exist! Paul hadn't even killed one Christian yet!
Please quit treating the Bible like a Magic Eight Ball.
