As far as calling something "suspect." You can swear up and down that something is wrong, and someone else will claim it is right with a different article. When I used that scripture, I didn't do it for debate. I stated because the context demonstrates that God testifies of Himself and His Word. When I speak of God the Father and Jesus, I don't see any division. It's like an unbreakable chain. If Jesus declared it, it's safe to assume it's coming from the Father. That is why understanding his place as "Lord" is and always will be enough. If I subject myself to Jesus as my Lord, I have ultimately subjected myself to the Father as well. Post Reply
