I will take the liberty to draw from some examples in life to help illustrate this thread..
I am sure most of you have at some point in your lives seen a movie or documentary about prisoners on death row.

And why did they say that? because the man was dead already.
Likewise, there are alot of people today who are unsaved and on their way to eternal death and separation from God.They are dead yet still live.

Jesus is our Propitiation. (Romans 3:25. 1 John 2:2. 1 John 4:10) A sacrifice one time for all. (Hebrews 10:12) God manifested in the flesh ( 1 timothy 3:16, 1 John 4:2, Hosea 13:4, Mark 12:32, Isaiah 45:21, 2 John 1:7), who was begotten of the Father (John 1:18 John 3:16 John 1:14), was born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:34), to save the world (John 3:16), to reconcile us back to the Father (Colossians 1:20,Ephesians 2:16) because of Adam's sin which separated us..(Genesis 3:24 Isaiah 59:1-2)
Jesus being without sin but in the likeness of sinful flesh (Romans8:3) was crucified under Pontius Pilate (Mark 15:15) and hung on a tree -cursed is he who hangs on a tree. (cross) Galatians 3:13)
His shed blood is our atonement for the forgiveness of sins.( Romans 5:11, Matthew 26:28)
He died on the cross, was buried and rose again on the 3rd day. ( John 2:19, 2 Corinthians 5:15, Matt.17:23, Matt.16:21, Matt. 20:19, Mark 9:31, Acts 10:40)
He ascended up to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father (Acts 7:55-56, Romans 8:34,Ephesians 1:20, Colossians 3:1)
If we confess that Jesus is Lord and believe the Gospel that has been preached then we will be saved. (Romans 10:9, 1 John 4:15)
His perfect sacrifice was accepted by the Father to atone for the sins of the world.(Romans 1:4, Hebrews 9:11-12)
He is our High Priest. (Hebrews 4:14-15 Hebrews 6:20)
We are justified and righteous because of the righteousness that has been imputed to us by his Son when we believed on him and will not see the wrath of the Father but have eternal life with him. John 3:16, Romans 10:9 , 1 Corinthians 15 1-4.

The Gospel is in the NT. And Paul was caught up into the third heaven. He was given a thorn in his side that satan should buffet him (I think I have one too!) to keep him humble so he wouldn't get an ego .You can believe Paul or not. You don't deny I am saved . Why? Because it is evident to everyone. Strangers know it. People have said I have such peace on my face, in my countenance. In my speech. People I have heard say that they don't hear people talk like that..like I do.. The known cult leader who was on Dr. Phil who was at my door wouldn't come near me when he saw me. Never shook my hand or introduced himself...Kind of like in the bible where it says,.Paul I know and Jesus I know, but who are you? Acts 19...That spirit in him recognized mine. My advice to you is trust that Jesus Christ, begotten Son of the Father died a humiliating death and his shed blood was payment for your sins. He is the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the World. I suggest that you humble yourself in sorrow for your sinful life and trust that he will wash your sins away, give you a new heart and eternal life. You won't ever be the same. You will be a SON and part of his body. (think in a marriage , the two become one flesh- one body . The fruit of a woman's womb is a child, likewise Jesus puts the seed of his Spirit in us to make us fruitful - for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus)

Exegesis of Mark 9:1 which is the favorute verse for the Preterists:
Mark 9:1: Jesus says, "I tell you the truth, some {2 or more} who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power"
In AD 96 the Apostle John saw in a vision the Kingdom God come with power after the 2nd Coming Jesus immediately followed by Judgment Day and the NEW EARTH** and the **NEW HEAVENS** and the Heavenly **NEW JERUSALEM** in Revelation 21:1-5 and Revelation 22:1-5!
Then the book of Revelation telling of the **NEW EARTH** and the **NEW HEAVENS** and the **NEW JERUSALEM** was immediately sent to 7 churches in 7 cities in Eastern Turkey which was within 100 miles of the island of Patmos. It is also reasonable to assume that there was at least one other Apostle who was alive at this time and read about the Kingdom of God coming with power in Revelation! It is also reasonable to assume that God may have shown the vision of the coming of the Kingdom of God to one or more Apostles who were alive in AD 96 which would also explain Mark 9:1 above.
Revelation 21:1-5: Then I saw a **NEW HEAVEN** and a **NEW EARTH**, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City the **NEW JERUSALEM**, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Look! God's dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwell with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
