Then it starts over: 1st day before Shabbat, 2nd day before Shabbat etc....Hebrews had a 7 day week with no names; just numbers (except for Shabbat). Passover was a NIGHT time feast, it took place from dusk till dawn. The sixth day was preparation DAY, preparing the sacrifice during the "evening' hours, which are (hrs) anywhere from noon till just dusk. The Messiah was prepared on the pole/tree during "evening' hours of preparation DAY! Right ON TIME and died on His own BEFORE NIGHT time, just like the animal sacrifice was

Luke 22:7,8: Then came the day on which the Passover Lamb “Had” to be sacrificed. Jesus said, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.” Christ became our Passover Lamb on Passover Day! 1 Cor 5:7: “For Christ our PASSOVER LAMB has been sacrificed.” Whereas the Jews {who were following the evil Babylonian moon calendar} held their Passover on the 15th of Nisan {Which always occurs on the night of a full moon} and observed the Passover on the WRONG DAY as per John 18:28: “Then the Jews led Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman Governor {Pilate}. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness the Jews did not enter the palace; for they wanted to be able to eat the PASSOVER!!” Which would have been the day “AFTER” Jesus correctly held the Passover on the 14th of ABIB which God had commanded. So we can assume that the month of ABIB is different from the Babylonian moon month of Nisan and therefore has nothing to do with the moon. When does the first month of the Bible Year called ABIB begin?? Most Evangelical Bible scholars believe that it always begins of the first day of SPRING or sundown March 20th to sundown March 21st for ABIB is the Hebrew word for SPRING!!! And so the 14th {*7+7*} Day of ABIB can also be translated the 14th {*7+7*} day of SPRING!!
Jesus was crucified on **PASSOVER DAY** on Friday, April 3rd, AD 33; and then was raised to life just after sunrise on Sunday, April 5th, AD 33 which was the first **LORD'S DAY**!. Then the 14th day of the first Bible month of ABIB or PASSOVER DAY would have begun on the 14th day after sundown March 20th to sundown, March 21st AD 33 {The first day of Spring}. The first day of ABIB was from sundown, March 20th, AD 33 to sundown March 21st, AD 33 then the 14th day of ABIB or Passover Day would have been from sundown, April 2nd, AD 33 to sundown, April 3rd, AD 33.
Jesus was our **PASSOER LAMB** {I Cor 5:7} on **PASSOVER DAY** which is always the **14TH OF ABIB** And so our Lord’s Resurrection Day which is the first **LORD'S DAY**is always on the **16TH OF ABIB**; which is always on **APRIL 5TH** each and every year!! It is also interesting to note that the 16th day of Abib falls on a Sunday on April 5th AD 33. and therefore would only come on a Sunday about 7 years before AD 33 and 7 years after AD 33!!
God's Word states 3 times that Jesus would rise again on the **THIRD DAY** in Luke 18:33, Luke 24:46 and I Corinthians 15:4.
Mark 15:27,33,34,37: It was about nine in the morning {the 3rd hour after sunrise} when they crucified Jesus... At about noon {The 6th hour} darkness came over the whole land until about 3 in the afternoon {the 9th hour}. And about 3 in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice "My God why have you forsaken Me?"... With a loud cry Jesus breathed His last.
And when Jesus died about 3 in the afternoon there was darkness over the whole land and so it was at night time. And so about 3PM, Friday, April 3rd, AD 33 was the **1ST NIGHT** and then there was light or daytime until sundown, Friday which was the **FIRST DAY. Friday at sundown to sunrise on Saturday was the **2ND NIGHT**. Sunrise, Saturday to Sundown, Saturday was the **2ND DAY**. Sundown, Saturday to sunrise Sunday was the **3RD NIGHT** and just after Sunrise Sunday, April 5th was the **3RD DAY**.
About 80 percent of expert Bible Chronologists believe Jesus was crucified on the 3rd hour or about 9 AM on Friday, April 3rd, AD 33 which is always the 14th Day of ABIB, which is always **PASSOVER DAY**, since God's Word states that Jesus was our **PASSOVER LAMB**. About 20 percent of Bible Chronologists claim that Jesus must have become our Passover Lamb on Wednesday, April 1st AD 33 or Thursday, April 2nd, AD 33 which would have been one or two days **BEFORE** the 14th of Abib which is always **PASSOVER DAY**.
Those who believe that Jesus was crucified on AD 30 to AD 32 must be wrong since according to God's Word Jesus began His ministry on his 30th human birthday in the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar which would have shown to be in AD 29 which would be 3 1/2 years before His crucifixion in April of AD 33. The Satanic Urantia fairy tale book teaches that Jesus was crucified on the 6th hour instead of the 3rd hour in AD 30 {???} which is completely ridiculous and contradicts God's Word two times!! They also claim that John said Jesus was crucified in the 6th hour which contradicts Mark who said that Jesus was crucified on the 3rd hour in Mark 15:27 which Urantia claims that it again shows a discrepancy in God's sacred Word. This is an absolute lie since John never mentioned **ANY TIME PERIODS** in his description of the crucifixion of Jesus in John 19:16-30!!
Now there is neither Jew nor Greek but all one in Christ Jesus so your saying that we all keep the sabbath now?
Isa 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
Isa 58:14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
CONCLUSION: The Bible teaches the 7th day Sabbath is the Lord's Day.
Now at this point, I have to ask, if Paul was keeping Sunday, and preaching during services on Sunday, how is it that he does not invite the Gentiles to attend services the very next day, on Sunday to hear him preach again?
Acts 13:44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
Why did the Gentiles have to wait until the next Sabbath to hear Paul preach? This is a question for which the promoters of Sunday worship cannot give a viable answer.
Acts 13:45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
Acts 13:47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
The Jews in Antioch did not receive the Gospel message on the first sabbath that Paul preached to them. On the following sabbath Paul did not enter the synagogue, the crowd of eager Gentiles being so large that only the outdoors could accommodate the multitude. The envious Jews were angered at Paul's preaching the Gospel to the Gentiles. And what was the response of the Gentiles to the Gospel?
Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
Acts 13:49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.
Here Paul has preached to a multitude of Gentiles, not on a Sunday which was his first opportunity, but on the following Sabbath, a Saturday. There can only be one reason for this, Paul was not keeping Sunday. Sunday had not been instituted as a day of worship, and none of the apostles were observing it as a holy day.
Was the Sabbath still to be observed?
At this point it might be asked, is there any evidence from the New Testament that indicates the seventh day Sabbath was to be observed even after the crucifixion?
Many Christians today, while they might acknowledge an initial application of Matthew 24:15-20 to the Roman destruction of Jerusalem, will also maintain that this passage applies most fully to an event yet future. They believe that the antichrist will desecrate the temple at some future date, and that this will signal the nearness of the second coming. If one subscribes to this future timing, then Jesus is speaking of His disciples observing the Saturday seventh day Sabbath all the way into a time that is even now still in the future!
Not only was the Sabbath never rescinded, but scripture even makes clear that in the future, all of mankind (those who are saved) will observe the Sabbath when worshipping the Lord:
Isa 66:22 (KJV) For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
Isa 66:23 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
Strange because I believe we are living in the New heaven and New earth now after the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD
