I have recently reconnected with an old youth pastor and another guy who was a youth leader in the same group and they are saying that they are following Jesus outside the institutional "church".I am a member of a church but I haven't attended in awhile.I can't seem to find any place where I feel comfortable.
Ryan, I Do understand what you are saying, & I actually agree with you...but neither do I find any fault in the advise & counsel given by Leon & ET. I myself have not been to an institutional church more than a couple times in 25 years...which may be partly why I never even looked at this thread until just now...
So let me 1st apologize to you for implying (Up on the new False Prophets thread)that you might have listened to the words of Preachers too much...I See now that that may not be true. So Please Forgive Me for The Assumption. Whenever I hear someone repeating something that I know is not in the Bible I just assume they heard it in a sermon.
It would be great to go to Church...except for LIKE YOU, I have never found any church that is acceptable... I'm not really tired of arguing with them, but I'm tired of not being able to break through to them...So I guess thats really about the same thing huh?
Yes, I would Like to have fellowship, but churches are reallly just about the loneliest places in the world for me..
Beause I dont dare open my mouth about my beliefs or I would be rejected..if not banned for causing dissention..So why bother going to someplace if you cant really say anything, & you just have to listen to a bunch of lies.
If I thought it would do any good, I would go to church. And I hope that someday that time will come, but meanwhile
it is more important from my viewpoint to NOT put myself in a compromising position where I too may begin to start believing the lies..Afterall it is human nature to try to fit in.
Local Home Church Really Is the Biblcal Way. Yes it can be a big resposibility to see to it that the doctrines are sound. But I do believe there are many who have seen the error of the big denominational corporate churches & have began to organize small local fellowships..More Power To Them:bouncy:IF they truely do Break away From the false teachings that are Already So Imbedded Within All Of Us.

Well, I would definately the wrong person :dunce:to try to answer a question about any computer stuff especially networking type stuff:winksmile: But before I ever came on to a Chat Room like this I always thought that they were multiple people "chatting" conference style..
So..I Bet there are many multi people type chat room thingys..Arent there? There Must Be..I'm pretty sure I've even heard of On-line Churches before....
But What I'm thinking is Why Not Network A Bunch of Home Fellowship Groups Together, so that each of the groups can share with other groups, potentially worldwide...In fact, I would think that Someone has already Got that Going Too.
I mean that would be the best of both worlds wouldn't it?
To have close fellowship with locals,:buddies: & still in touch with Semi-locals; & other believers from all over the world too..

At work there are things that are done wrong, the job a had before this one was the same and not to
mention the one before. unfortunatly the place of worship (most of them, not all) is the same, somebody gets a scribture and interpets it his own way and say: God told me...but i have learn to apply this three scriptures: i dont forget to assemple myself, i hold to what is good, because i let the anoited one teach me, o and one more because i hunger and thirst for rightousness, that is why im full and not confuse.
