This a gift from the father given by the lord Jesus, in a separate act of faith to those receive him. This Not Gift's of the Spirit. Being filled withe Holy Spirit, baptized withe Holy Ghost, and the Gift of The Holy Ghost are all referred to as the same thing in scripture, and it is not a part of the New Birth. Post Reply

elishabroadway View Profile History	Gift is Singular: Posted : 2 Nov, 2011 09:14 PM again the indwelling and the infilling of the holy spirit are 2 things 1, the indwelling happens at the new birth 2 the infilling happens at a seperate time apointed by God you must be saved to recieve the babtism or infilling of the holy Spirit where as recieving the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is the momnet of being born again of the spirit, Ill say it like this when you have the indwelling of the spirit it just means His spirit lives in you to lead and guide but the infilling is when you are filled all the way up with the holy spirit He is leading you to a higher standard of living Holieness showing you leading you, I have experienced both things and they are 2 different events if Gods spirit dwells in you then seek the holy Ghost babtism ask God to fill you with his spirit with the evidence of speaking in tounges it is not an emotional hissy fit like the other girl describes like I said the normal christian life is a must read for people who want to please God and I dont understand why she keeps going back to prosperity which is also a doctorine that has been twisted by satan to play of the nature of our flesh to be greedy God will make sure we have what we need Gods provisions are always perfect and perfect simply means complete thats it whjen something is perfected it is completed thats all. I prayed about a Muslim man laying on him my hands and God healed him. There are many manifestations of the Holy Spirit who dwells in believers in the God Jesus. That's why He gives us many gifts. So many gifts that I even cannt count then here right now. The tongues is just one of the them!!!!! Re-red the Scripture to see it. We all agree that it is possible that people speak today in the tongues. But we have not met such people yet. What we see in our Churches is just crazy barking. And this barking cannt be the language of the Holy Spirit. Check thread I posted for you a link where you can see such barking. So, what I say: those who bark will be judged by God. Because they allowed themselves to be deceived by other 'christians' and they deceive other people. God does not bark because the Holy Spirit is not dog!!!! elishabroadway View Profile History	Gift is Singular: Posted : 3 Nov, 2011 10:57 AM Lady, I red every post and I wasnt making a coment refering to your post rather the person who said pentecostals were wrong, furthermore yopu stated that you had the holy spirit living in you and that it happend when you became born again, I am sure i said severl times that indwelling and infilling are 2 sperate things, and if ypu have the indwelli9ng that happens when you are saned the infilling is when you recieve the babtism and the infilling of the spirit until this time you wont recieve the gifts, but I am sure if you will re read the earlier posts you will see where someone said that pentecostals are wrong "you cant heal by laying on hands" that is who I was replying to Post Reply
elishabroadway View Profile History	Gift is Singular: Posted : 3 Nov, 2011 11:16 AM I am sorry my comment on devine healling was somewhere else, however I was talking to you Bahira in this instance because you have certainly got being born again and having the indwelling of the Spirit mixed up with having the Babtism of the Holy Spirit and the infilling, I also think you have some other things mixed up including maybe the fruit of the spirit and the gifts of the spirit. I am not really sure what exactly yalls topic is suposed to be because there is so much double talk and redundant rambling, Gift of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the spirit are 2 things also when we recieve the gift of the spirit we recieve the babtism but the gifts of the spirit are tounges prophacey amd so on, and there is no diversity those are the gifts of the spirit and the many diverse gifts you speak of that is what is herrasy you cant add to the Word of God, now I am not gonna keep on and on with corinthians 14:2 because absolutly nobody and in @ days I have quoted it like 4 times to make the case for speaking in tounges in prayer to God which is what the evidence of speaking in tounges when you recieve the Spirit is all about everyone doesnt give the messgaes in tounges but everyone absolutly who is filled with the holy ghost does revieve the prayer launguage mentiond in cor 14:2 when you speak in tounges you speak to God for NO MAN UNDERSTANDETH once again if no man understandeth then how is this an earthly laungage, PLEASE EXPALIN I AM PACTIENTLY WAITING TO HEAR THE EXPLANATION OF THIS SCRIPTURE Post Reply
elishabroadway View Profile History	Gift is Singular: Posted : 3 Nov, 2011 11:22 AM also be very caeful what you say about the things of God, I have heard that people bark and I am sure that is obsed nd satanic but I assure you I dont bark and neighter do my church family but if you insist on saying everyone who is spirit filled with the evidence of speaking in tounges is "crazy barking" well I am sure God hears what you say, I myself would be afraid to say those sort of things, and as far aws the "many diverse gifts" unless you are speaking of the specific gifts that paul mentioned then you are adding to Gods Word and revelation specifiacly says if you do that you will recieve all of the curse so be careful , and I will be praying for you to see the truth Post Reply
