Actually ET has a very interesting way of interpreting and explaining away God's NT commands In I Timothy 2:11,12 and I Corinthians 14:33-35:

Two of ET's brilliant quotes:

"BTW, I Corinthians chapter 14:34 places us back under the law which is of the Old Testament, so do you believe this is what Paul is meaning?"{???????}

"And since you have brought up these passages about women preaching in the church, but you have been unable to relate them to this prophecy by Jeremiah in 31:22, don't forget these are God's words not according to what Paul says, but according to what God declares that "A woman shall compass a man" and God overrules everything Paul and every man has to say."{???????}

1 Timothy 2:11,12: "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent."

I Corinthians 1:2 & I Corinthians 33-35: "To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy....."As in **ALL** the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church."

2 Timothy 3:16: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." And of course all of the NT commands should all be obeyed right NOW as Paul is inspired to write above "In **ALL** the congregations!!"

so that the man of God.

Hey prof:

I do believe that you have made the same error which most christians are guilty of.

They believe their English transation of the Hebrew and Greek texts is a viable and accurate translation.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

English:Men

Greek:Anthropos

Definition:

G444

ἄνθρωπος

anthrōpos

anth'-ro-pos

From G435 and ὤψ ōps (the countenance; from G3700); manfaced, that is, a human being: - certain, man.

G435

ἀνήρ

anēr

an'-ayr

A primary word (compare G444); a man (properly as an individual male): - fellow, husband, man, sir.

Hey prof:

I know this thread is about blasphemy,

Yet maybe you could start a topic on #444 from Strongs Concordance,as to whether this word talks about 'MEN ONLY'

Or is this pertaining to both MEN and WOMEN.
