Logic vs. Spirit II

Did you hear what the man, said about the man that trys to communicate spiritual things being logical, or employing logic in understanding spiritual matters.

Logic is like a log in the eye you see, or do you really see with the log in the eyes.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

One more thought how is it that logic, a product of the mind is any greater after a man is saved than before he is saved.

For the bible does teach the word of God is believed with the heart and as it is received in the heart it grows.

By the way when the bible speaks of faith, bible faith is of the heart, the spirit of man!!!

twosparrows - Ryan, try reading the time of the postings, then you can logically deduce what happened.

Ryan - More sarcasm? Please tell me what the time of the posts have to do with anything.

twosparrows - I gets me going when people put words in my mouth or play dumb as you have.

Ryan - Actually if we read the thread carefully, we see me saying "No I'm not saying that I can", then you responded with "

Oh Ryan, thou art a great man of logic". Now I have been very patient, but that is complete distortion of what I said. What's worse is I believe you know it's a distortion. I tell you my logic is not perfect and then you respond with sarcasm and call me a great man of logic.

twosparrows - I answer your questions, yet you answer none of mine?

Ryan - Answered your questions up until you starting being sarcastic with every response and knowingly misrepresenting what I posted. However it can be said that you answered very few of my questions.

I'm glad you asked, if you read the time of the postings you will see I had not read your last post before posting mine. Well I suppose if I typed fast, however I am using a phone with a touch screen for my internet access, you wouldn't know that, but from my answer a man of logic could deduce I hadn't read your post, however your logic led you astray and you deduced I didn't have any desire to know what you have to say..

Isn't it amazing how the right examples present themselves.

I'm not sure what it says on your screen, but on mine it says you posted 10 minutes after I did. Maybe that's where the confusion lies.

And of course more sarcasm :dancingp:

Ryan the lord taught me a long time ago, that what a person keeps saying is really what they are doing, two has been very patient with you, and you have been very sarcastic and arrogant.

I have raised three sons and no one would say they are perfect but they would not begin to act like you, first you are talking to a older man, a man that loves God, and you would say I guess, I don't know you are a christian. Your responses to the person are un christ like.

PJ if that's all you got from the discussion then I don't know what to say. I get it, I'm a kid and when somebody is sarcastic and misrepresenting me, then that means I must be doing the same. I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion but if that's how you feel then I will bow out of the thread because no fair discussion can be had if that's the attitude you take.

Why has God chosen the foolish things of the world to confound and put to shame the wise?

And why has God chosen the weak things of the wolrd to put to shame and confound the strong?

Logic is not a synonym for carnality. If that is the stance you are taking please show how the meanings are the same. Nobody's point is that through flawed men, spiritual things can be explained, but simply spiritual things are logical. If the Spirit teaches convicts you to do one thing, It logically means not to do the opposite.

According to the word of God it is Ryan, a carnal man is a man allowing his mind and flesh to dominate him.

That's fine that you believe that. All I ask is to where scripture teaches that logic is a synonym for carnal man.
