Mt 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. Mt 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. Mt 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. Mr 10:52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. Do you suppose Jesus was confused, he pointed out these people had faith and they where not even saved? Post Reply

Posted : 28 Jan, 2011 07:29 PM Leon your argument is non valid, those in the old testament did not receive with a new heart, they believed with the spirit they where born with, and unto them it was accounted unto rightousness, and know the bible does not teach God gives men faith to be saved. Faith is man's response to the word of God on whatever topic discussed. Post Reply

Posted : 29 Jan, 2011 08:30 AM Scripture is always good enough for those that believe, what is written, you are admitting by your response that you do not believe the integrity of scripture and completely disagrees with man's addition of twisting of scriptures, to promote their own doctrine. There is no biblical topic of: Total depravity Total inability Irresistible grace Salvation is the gift, not faith, and grace is received by faith, it is not grace then faith. Grace comes thru faith.
