Justification...

Abraham is the first person the Bible describes as being JUSTIFIED. This does not mean that he was the first child of God, only that this is the first recorded case in the Bible giving us to example of the principle JUTIFICATION by faith, and the same principle God uses in justifying the ungodly/sinners. God justified Abraham as being righteous, BEFORE God had given the law.

Based on Romans chapters 3-4

(1) How then are we justified?

(2) Explain Abraham's JUSTIFICATION?

Ro 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Leon when you take a scripture and say this makes it so, do you think I am going to agree with you or the word?

PJ,

Then explain what it means. Come on now, I have given you every chance to present a clear view, but you can't. you can't because you can't admit you are wrong. I am waiting, show me what th scriptures mean. Don't be scared.

Good observations and comments on the nice collection of Scriptures PJ. It is good to TALK ABOUT the word, at least that is what it says in Deut 6.

I am interested in the WORD, but I am also interested in what people have to say about it, their observations and comments on understanding it.

In Nehemiah 8 we are told that they READ the Book in front of all the people, and THEN they explained what it meant to the people. After that, it says, THEY HAD A CELEBRATION, because they were helped to UNDERSTAND THE WORDS.

And there is a right understanding of the words. It is not like it is multiple choice that there a lots of alternate meanings, and we can just choose the one that we like the best. We should seek to grasp the sense and "understand the reading" (Neh. 8:8-10).

Are we not glad that we are in the new testament, and we are born again and have the privilege to have an extra dose of the spirit of God.

So you would the word defined as truth would have several meanings.

How meanings would you put to believe.

Come on PJ, you still haven't addressed my scriptures or examples.

Show us your understanding. Don't just keep babbling, talk.

Yes I have the answer is the same, you don't put an explanation to scripture to build a doctrine, Scripture means what it says. God is not confused, the atonement is for all of mankind, all are called, not all choose the calling, which part do you not understand?

By the way Truth Should not be debateable , for it would obviously not be the truth.

Truth never changes!!!

PJ,

This is fruitless. You obviously have been blinded lest seeing you should see. I have better things to do than mess with an unteachable spirit with no desire to know the truth.

Good luck, I will pray God give you ears to hear before it is too late.

Leon
