I'm done participating in this particular forum. As long as Calvin vs Armenians is the topic and pushing personal agendas takes precedence over seeking Truth it's just stupid. I find there are members here who would rather accuse, degrade and point fingers at each other rather than stick to discussing the point. I am sure I may have been guilty of this myself at times but it is getting too routine here so I will no longer participate.

It's starting to feel just like church. Hmmm I wonder why. :dunce:

I can hardly imagine anyone enjoying this forum lately.

However, I do not think that walking away will change anything.

Even on this very thread we point at eachother....

How about looking at ourselves and change?

And those who are perfect..... please look again!

Thunder,

I am sorry to see you leave and I hope you reconsider. If I have ever offended you then you have my sincere apology. In fact I apologize to everyone if I have offended any of you.

In Christ,

Walter

As believers there are things we need to agree to disagree on. Having dialogue is good. It helps strengthen one's beliefs to be knowledgable on what both sides are saying and measure it up to what your understanding of the word is. however in doing this we must also recognise that no man has all the answers. There are many things we just won't know until we get to heaven and at that point we probably won't care.

What I'd love to see more of is discussion on how we are to love and how we are live out our faiths in the world. An hour spent "debating" doctrine with another believer could be spent encouraging them or better yet sharing the gospel with someone who doesn't know it.

Please don't think me naive, I certianly am not, however I attend a bible college where for many this very topic is continually debated and I just wanna know how it expands God's kingdom or shows him glory. I understand apolegetics in evangelism, but when it's people who have already proclaimed their faith just talking to one up each other or prove others wrong....brothers and sisters please do STOP.

In anything motive is the key concern. We need to be focused on spurring each other on and lifting each other up because our walks are not easy. We need to stand together, not divided. I'm not saying never discuss doctrine but whether I am predestined or I chose to believe, bottom line is that I do believe and I am saved and now I need to move forth into my calling....SHARE THE GOSPEL. People are literally dying both for the faith and also without the faith...what has anyone to say about this?

Well, you are absolutely correct, the issue is some have rewriiten the Gospel and it will not bring faith. It can and will hinder people from coming to God and then, they will be accountable for the souls they desire to embalm with unbelief. There is only one gospel and only one Spirit that guides into the truth, thank God for the truth and the simplcity of the Gospel.

My question is how can one be so full of sin (death) and be full of God, my bible always shows my Jesus bring forth the answer, and the problems will be solved. Jesus is life and he has come to give us that life, go back and read the Gospels, very seldom do you ever hear the word sin come out of his mouth, we know there is a sin problem so why not lift up the answer( Jesus), all the sin talk will never draw anybody to him.

Are you serious!!!

Your ignorance of the Gospel and God's Word is very clear now. It doesn't matter if you think it is your choice or God electing you sin is exactly what draws us to Him for forgiveness! If one does not see the sinfulness of their sins they will have no need for a savior.

It is the so called Christians that do not use the law to bring about the knowledge of sin that produces so many false converts that on that day will say Lord, Lord and be cast into hell forever. In light of God's law the cross makes perfect sense and the sinner becomes exceedingly grateful!

Not like that you haven't proven yourself already but you are dead wrong again, as always. I will refer to my broken clock for more theological knowledge. You really are clueless PJ. :goofball:
