Believe or InterpretPosted : 9 Feb, 2010 03:48 AMNo I do not, but when I accept them as the truth, i can walk in agreement with the lord and his word and the holy spirit, and we can be as one, Do you you suppose college students get a college professor's approval in their study's when they give him an interpretation of what they believe, His word will illuiminate us, will guide us as we obey the lord in studying, and meditating in the word. What I commonly see happening is people using the word interpretation to put there own twist to scriptures, which is clearly devilish. My Jesus wants us to believe him, and be as one. We the church need to quit the childish games of strife (division). |

Believe or InterpretPosted : 9 Feb, 2010 12:22 PMMaybe, but that's only something God can do. The bible says that at the end God will call all His people together, but I don't think it's something we as humans can pull off. I would not sacrifice my beliefs for anyone or anything except the bible. So unless someone can show me how my beliefs are wrong using the bible(our lamp), I'm not going anywhere until God decides to lighten my path more. |

Believe or InterpretPosted : 9 Feb, 2010 04:34 PMUh...yeah...revelation 18. What it's saying is...at the end, right before Jesus comes...God's people will be living in confusion(Babylon), and God calls them out into His truth again before the 2nd coming. I think it started with Martin Luther...and we're still not there yet...obviously. All the reforms we've been having over the last...what...800 years...have been trying to pull us back out of the "darkness" of the "dark" ages. Paganism had a supreme hold on the christian church, and we're still trying to get rid of it. I mean really...for a long time the catholic church wouldn't let anyone except priests read the bible...who knows what twisted logic would come from that? Praying to idols, claiming sinlessness for a human, claiming God's throne and power on this earth, allowing people to buy forgiveness, burning anyone that disagreed, hoarding earthly treasure, torturing "heretics"...it was pretty bad...and there's a lot more. I'll keep my mouth shut, but you'd probably be surprised at the amount of paganism that christians still hold onto. It's like someone had a contest to see how much paganism they could blend in and still call it "christian". |

Believe or InterpretPosted : 9 Feb, 2010 06:52 PMMy choice is to keep my eyes on the lord, why would you want to boast about Satan and his work, I believe Jesus is greater and Satan has been defeated. |

Believe or InterpretPosted : 9 Feb, 2010 07:23 PM*sigh* ok....was just trying to point out the point of the last couple posts...don't need to get high and mighty on me. Yes, Satan already lost, but he's still trying to take as many with him as he can...if you don't notice that you need your eyes checked...it's not completely over yet, or there would be no evil left... |
