Posted : 27 Dec, 2009 10:10 PM okay so i am very sorry i have not read all of the post so i am butting in here a bit but Yohanan Ben Zekaryah(John) was born on Yom Kippur (the day of Atonement) and YAHSHUA(JESUS) was born during Sukkot And here is something that will surely blow your mind YAHSHUA did not have a 3 1/2 year ministry it was 70 weeks,,prophesied in the book of Dani'el. When YAHSHUA lived here among us HE fulfilled the Spring Feast of YAHWAH down to the last detail,,and when HE returns HE will fulfill the Fall Feast of YAHWAH,,and from the looks of what is going on in syria that will not be long,,there are many signs given to us all through Scripture,,he is called the syrian in Yeshayahu(Isaiah) and in 17:1 he speaks of dammeseq(damascus) becoming a heap of ruins,,if you read the syrian daily news papers you see as plain as can be that forces are being gathered against Israel,,we should know the Feast of YAHWAH and keep them as well as Sabbat,,Sabbat is a gift and YAHWAH told us to keep it Holy so we should that has never changed and YAHSHUA said "Do not think that i came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. "For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done." Mattithyahu 5:17-18 so my dear brothers and sisters say not that anything makes no difference or is not of importance for the instruction given on Mount Sinai is the same, yes the same today as it was then,,we are to follow the Instructions and become part of the Assembly of Israel,,spoken in Bemidbar(Numbers) 15:15 "One law is for you of the assembly and for the stranger who sojourns with you - a law forever throughout your generations. As you are, so is the stranger before YAHWAH." so we are all under the same law and instruction,,watch the papers in syria folks they are saying "Peace and Safety" then suddenly destruction comes upon them,as labour pains upon a pregnant woman, and they shall not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief." as Sha'ul said to the assembly of the Thessalonians,,those he was speaking of that were not in darkness knew and kept the Feast so that they knew they are rehearsals for what is to come,,dear brothers and sisters i love you,,may the peace of YAHWAH be with you always,,we will all see soon enough,,don't be fooled by anyone who claims to come in the Name of YAHSHUA,,look up Scot Dryer he gives some good teachings on these matters,, and Michael Rood,,,so much love goes to you from me,,i over flow with love for you,,it is my prayer that you be safe and warm and happy and better yet following in the path,,be servants do for the FATHER and not for yourself,do unto others,,and remember what Sha'ul said "Do you not know that you are a Dwelling Place of ELOHIM and that the Spirit of ELOHIM dwells in you?" love love love to you all be sweet dear brothers and sisters,,AMEN Post Reply

We know this from scripture which points us to the alignment of specific celestial bodies that tells us when He was born. Icebro...since "no part of the law has been made unnecessary"...animal sacrifices were part of the law. If you keep the feasts, there were many animal sacrifices required during the feasts. So either we are freed from sacrificial laws because they were fulfilled...because they were just pointing to something else...or the law changed. Which is it? Are we freed from keeping the feasts that have had their fulfillment? I'm starting a new forum post in "Biblical Discussions" and I'll put these questions there so we can stop invading other peoples forum posts:laugh:.
