Calling out sin

Sometimes on YouTube I watch some evangelical preachers and teachers who talks about a lot of the things going on in the world and just how it’s getting. I like what I hear from them for the most part because they preach and teach from the Bible. But I do notice some of tend to talk about certain celebrities that are supposedly “saved” and they tend call out certain sins that these people do or that they speak. Personally I think that’s a dangerous thing to do if you’re a christian, because if you’re not careful you may find yourself in the mindset that you think that everyone is a sinner but you and that’s not a good mindset to be in. Because even though you are saved you are still in a sinful body. Just because someone commits a sin worser than you doesn’t mean their sins are greater your’s. In the end sin is sin, and no matter how big or small it’s all the same. No person’s sin is greater than other person’s. That’s why I think it’s, not really wrong, but unwise to make a person’s sin public. Do I believe we should call sin though? Yes. But in private. It’s not our duties to make another person’s sin public to make an example out of them or something. I believe that’s the Lord’s job to do. He can make a person’s sins known. I know what you might be asking “What exactly should we do when we see someone sin?”. The answer, pray. Pray the will give them conviction and pray that they will ask the Lord for forgiveness. Because remember, even though we might be saved (I don’t know rest of your hearts only my own) we aren’t perfect, and believe it or not we can still sin and fall away from God. That’s why we should always be in prayer and constantly in the word of God. I know it’s frustrating when you hear someone say something or see someone do something against God, and that’s fine, I personally get that way myself, but instead of being like Peter, drawing our swords and cutting off the ears of our enemies, we should be more like Jesus and ask God to forgive them, because they know not what they do.

Moon, you run around in circles,but never answer a question directed towards what you believe.

Now, one more time.

Where in New Covenant Scripture does GOD Almighty say to ask to be forgiven.

'Christians' normally post 1 John 1 verse 8 - 10

8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.

Now moon, where in this section of the Scriptures does The Holy Spirit tell a person to ask to be forgiven.

It is not there, why, because they have already been foegiven, that i why a person confesses(agrees with GOD Almighty) that what they had said or done was missing the mark, know as 'sin'.

@moon

Moon, what is sin, sin is the result of UNBELIEF, a person sins because they DO NOT BELIEVE what GOD Almighty says in His Word about Himself, or themselves.

When was the last time you or anyone here confessed(agreed with GOD Almighty) that they sinned because they did not believe what GOD Almighty says in His word, about Himself, or themselves.

Moonlight, we have a man here who can actually look at and read l John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Just because this man can see the words doesn’t mean HE CAN understand them‼️

Remember the old saying—-you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink. In the same way, you can lead a man to the Bible but you can’t make him think‼️

@dave

Dave, why do BELIEVERS confess sin,because GOD Almighty is faithful to forgive our sin.

He forgave our sin before the foundation of the world, He forgave our sin before we were born, He forgave our sin when Messiah went to the cross He forgave our sin in the past, will forgive our sin presently, and is faithful to forgive sin in the future.

Now Dave, tell everyone here what is necessary for GOD Almighty to forgive ALL of the sin of ALL of man from creation, until everything has been made new.

Quiz, let’s see if I’m getting this right—I’m trying to to avoid any further accusations of “twisting” your words.

Are you saying we shouldn’t or don’t need to confess our sins or only need to do it once, if at all, because, after all, God just up and decided to forgive sins before we sinned so we could do what?

You’re going to have to build your case more compellingly than you’ve done.

Please show where you’re getting all this from scripture and explain (or explain away) scripture that contradicts you?

Dave, once again you do not understand what had been written before we were conceived.

The Holy Spirit needs to open your understanding, until then continue to ask for wisdom and understanding.

Quiz, I recognize an old dodge when I see one.

Nice try avoiding accountability for what you say.

Seems even you can’t untwist your twisted posts.

Sad to say, your old dodge didn’t get you far.

Have you try blowing up the tires instead of blowing up your posts?

Quiznos, it seems like think unbelief is the only, but that’s far from the truth. Unbelief is a sin, but there are so many other sins that christians should not partake in. Stealing, murder, lust, and so on. There many many ways for people to sin, but there is only one way to the Father. And that way is Jesus.
