It is love that has gone cold, jehovas witnesses are an example of it, ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge and the love of the truth.. Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Also knowledge gains nothing without love.. 1 Corinthians 8:1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. some think they can falsely accuse the good conversation in Christ, but love works no ill, so they are seen to work ill and to believe in it: Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
