New wine into new bottles. The new wine and the new bottle is preserved together.
New wine bursts old bottles, the wine is spilled, the bottles marred.
The vessel was marred in the hand of the potter, so the potter made another vessel as seemed good to him.
The God of peace sanctify you wholly, your whole spirit and soul be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
One vessel remains in dishonour, the potter makes another to honour..
Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
Mark 2:22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
Jeremiah 18:3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Again the Kingdom of Heaven is the gathering of the good into vessels, and the bad cast away.
To take away the dross from the silver, then there is a vessel for the finer.
Taking away the wicked from the King, then His throne is established in righteousness..
Matthew 13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
Proverbs 25:4 Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.
5 Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.
To bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.
God will take of them for priests and Levites.
Jesus Christ the faithful witness, loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and made us kings and priests unto God the Father..
Isaiah 66:20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Lord out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.
21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the Lord.
Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Apostle Paul chosen vessel to the Lord, to suffer great things for Christs name..
Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
Every one has to posess his vessel in sanctioficatioon and honour, not in the lust of sin as the ones who know not Gof.
Defrauding your brother in any matter is forewarned and testified to be avenged on you by God..
1 Thessalonians 4:4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
But there are some vessels to honour and some to dishonour.
If a man through Christ did purge himself from these, then he would be a vessel unto honour, sanctified and meet for the Masters use, prepared unto every good work..
2 Timothy 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

Let me see if I have this right diz Quiz... Abounding posts ONE verse and he is in context according to you and Adam posts SIX verses showing context to that of >>>Righteousness by FAITH<<< to those Philippian CONVERTS that had been PERFECTED (vs 15) and ALREADY ATTAINED (vs 16) to that of Paul's confession that during the time of his persecution of the Church ,at that time he did NOT ATTAINED (verses 6-14) unto righteousness and didn't know it at the time but NOW he does!
Your HATE for Adam is astounding because he teaches truth you need to DIE to the flesh and your sins! But you LOVE your sins and its so obvious! So you claim by election that ONLY Adam is out of context when its clear by reading the chapter 3 of Paul's letter to the Philippians that INDEED its ABOUNDING of not much GRACE is the one taking Scripture out of context!
Quiz, you are really desperate to show all on this forum of how stupid that stupid can actually be in reasoning abilities of the REAL CONTEXT of SCRIPTURE aren't you? You are the perfect example of having your conscience seared with a hot iron the Bible talks about in loving your continual sins dude! Your truly DIZZY and toast if you don't change your ways SOON!
All of you peoples comments are really making GRACE a DISGRACE in teaching continual sinning and the LOVE for it each and everyday! WOW! LOST MUCH?
So you claim 'Abounding does not need to be reminded of the importance of context Quiz??? REALLY Quiz? Biased and blind MUCH?

We have been studying Philippians. In chapter 3 God tells them, and us, to beware of dogs. Watch out for those evil workers. Look out for those butchers. These are the same people that harassed the Galatians. These people want you to be circumcised and keep the law. So God has Paul use himself as an example. "If anyone else thinks to have confidence in the flesh, I have more." Do Paul gives his credentials according to the flesh. He talks about what he was by heritage and birth. He talks about his personal status as a full grown man. He was circumcised on the eighth day. He was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin. That was the tribe who stayed faithful when the northern kingdom apostatized. He was a Hebrew born from Hebrews. Living among gentiles, they kept their heritage and did not abandon the law. He was a Pharisee which he says is the strictest sect of their religion( Acts 26:5). He persecuted the church zealously. As far as his conduct, in the righteousness of the law he was blameless. Paul is not indicating that he was sinless. The parents of John the Baptist are called righteous and blameless in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord(Luke 1:6). Zachariah was a priest. It means they kept the law, offering the appropriate sacrifices when they sinned.
But God says that there is something, indeed someone, better and greater than the law.
Paul says that those things which were a gain or profit to him, "these things I have considered damage, harm and loss-because of Christ(Phil. 3:7).

God has Paul go further. It wasn't enough for Paul to say that his heritage and conduct as a Jew was a detriment and loss. Verse 8, "but, indeed, more than that, I am considering everything as loss, something damaged, because of the superiority of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord." It isn't just circumcision and the law that are insignificant, even loss. It's everything outside of Christ.
Paul writes that it was because of Christ, "I was caused to lose all things. And I consider all things dung or garbage." Everything outside of Christ is putrid, rotten, excrement. All that is outside of Christ has no value or power in relation to our relationship with God.
Why does he consider all things as garbage? So that "I might gain Christ and be found in him." How is that accomplished? "Not having my own rightness/justness that is out of the law." Remember God had Paul just write, that was loss, harm and detrimental. What rightness matters? "That rightness which is through the faithfulness of Christ, it is that rightness from God."

" These are the same people that harassed the Galatians. These people want you to be circumcised and keep the law"
Sorry mister anti law of Christ man, mister grace, the words are different to your adding to scripture.
The people did not want them to keep the law, as the testimony is they want circumcision in the flesh to glory in the flesh, as thy do not glory in God only. They also it testifies, do not keep the law so why would they want others to keep it when they do not...
Galatians 6:13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
This continues in Philippians 3,( naturally) how we are the CIRCUMCISION,, who worship God in the SPIRIT, (born again of God sin not) having no more works in the flesh (confidence) as told everywhere...
Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
To know the power of Christs resurrection, is to be sinning or dead to sin ? His sufferings in the flesh, to be sinning or testifies ceased from sin ?
Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Romans 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be DEAD INDEED TO SIN, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath SUFFERED FOR US IN THE FLESH, ARM YOURSELVES LIKEWISE WITH THE SAME MIND: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath CEASED FROM SIN;
2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
Mister grace, do not forget fuller context, why do your last trick of one verse, and now you ignore the description is about the different circumcisions, whether in Spirit or of the flesh, so remember you cant win Christ unless you lose all first same as Holy Apostle Paul if you are really studying Philippians chapter 3, but a rich man cannot do that can he, nor can a fool see God has led him into trap after trap to see how to be PERFECT again, is not for yourself, and why you attempt to deny al,l but are denying Christ in WORKS...
Philippians 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

quizlittle asks: "Adam, is a person clean by the blood of the lamb, and the Word of GOD Almighty, or by being kept away from sin.
One is the works of man, the other the Grace and Mercy of GOD Almighty"
Conversion of the Holy Ghost ( the question and topic) has all the scriptures showing through the blood of the Lamb, we are converted ( as seen in Peter) to be strengthened to be kept from the works of satan.
Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
This is the grace and WORK OF GOD..
2 Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
Ephesians 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Hebrews 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

What is this faithfulness of Christ by which we have rightness or righteousness? God had Paul address the same issue in Galatians and Romans. Galatians 2:16: knowing that no one is justified out of the source(by) of the works of the law but he is justified through the faithfulness of Christ Jesus, and we believed unto Christ Jesus so that we are justified out of/by the faithfulness of Christ and not out of/by the works of the law because no one will be justified out of the works of the law.
This is the same contrast that God had Paul write about in Philippians 3:9.
