For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man

The word of truth saves us.

Saved by being swift to hear but slow to speak, which is slow to wrath and unrighteousness..

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Much is given us by our Lord and Master Jesus Christ, and so much is required of us, and much punishment awaits us if we do not do as required..

Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Also we do not follow the example all men follow, to want to be masters, we know we are only brethren, with One Master, and not to be the greatest, but to be the least, ONLY THE HUMBLE WILL BE EXALTED..

Matthew 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

GREATER DAMNATION FOR EXALTING OURSELVES( NOT ABOUT TEACHING)

TO NEVER OFFEND, AND BRIDLE THE WHOLE BODY...

James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

NO MAN CAN BRIDLE HIS TONGUE, GOD DOES ALL FOR US THROGH CHRIST..

James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

CAN ONLY HAVE BLESSING OR CURSING...

James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

THE HEART GIVES THE MOUTH ITS DXEFILING, THEIR MURDERS, FORNICATIONS, THEFTS AND FALSE WITNESS BLASPHEMIES...

Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Another great post and thread ADAM7777, not trying to distract from the context of your study here either but what David and I are posting is really on point because "out of the heart (of pathetic7744) proceeds evil thoughts" in removing words, twisting them and claiming contradictions in the Bible, like pathetic7744 claiming the Messiah broke Law mind you and we simply want to encourage others visiting this thread to NOT to be led away with that SAME error by wicked Richard7744!

Richard the continual false teacher! Yah'shua the Messiah is JEWISH, deal with it, He kept the Torah law perfectly including the Sabbath! Did he all of a sudden become a greek before dying for sinners? If so then did he die for Himself also because he was NOW a LAWBREAKER ALSO as you accuse Him off, like your Pharisee (some of them were fair -u- see?) friends you believe by faith and those wicked ones that claimed he did, like you?

Quiznos states - "Messiah is our rest, have you ever come to Yashua to be given rest."

Umm Quizzy, are you implying that THE MESSIAH is an actual day of rest, a replacement for the Sabbath Day and we therefore have only six days of Creation now??? While Yah'shua CERTAINLY is Sanctified and Holy, obeyed the Torah Law perfectly, like the keeping the 7th Day Sabbath, the Bible is clear YHWH the Father Sanctified and made Holy an entire Day for rest out of seven! Correct? Gen 2!

Teddy, not trying to disagree with you just to be disagreeing.

But I don’t see the objective of any Adams threads.

But it seems Prophetic may have influenced Adam to meaninglessly copy and paste. In Adam’s new found cut chop and paste fandango he randomly posts with no particular purpose in mind.

Kinda like randomly nailing boards together with no purpose in mind, that only makes a stiff pile of wood not a house.

It’s kinda like he in competition with the all-time-great-one of-copy-and-paste, Proph 7744.

You might think Adam just trying to steal the cut-chop-and paste fandango championship away from prophetic

Quiznos;

Hugs, again you reveal your ignorance of the Scriptures as well as your ignorance of who Yashua is, and what He is like.

Quiznos states - "Messiah is our rest, have you ever come to Yashua to be given rest."

Matthew 11 verses 25 - 30

25 At that time Jesus declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.

26 Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight.

27 All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.

28 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Hugs have you ever entered the rest of Yashua LORD of the Sabbath.

Acts 15 verses 1 - 29 ( For context).

1 Then some men came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”

2 So Paul and Barnabas engaged these men in sharp debate. The two of them were appointed, along with some other believers, to go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders about this question.

3 Sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, recounting the conversion of the Gentiles and bringing great joy to all the brothers.

4 On their arrival in Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and apostles and elders, to whom they reported all that God had done through them.

5 But some believers from the party of the Pharisees stood up and declared, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses.” 6 So the apostles and elders met to look into this matter.

7 After much discussion, Peter got up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you that the Gentiles would hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. 8And God, who knows the heart, showed His approval by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as He did to us.

9 He made no distinction between us and them, for He cleansed their hearts by faith.

10 Now then, why do you test God by placing on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear?

11 On the contrary, we believe it is through the grace of the Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

12 The whole assembly fell silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul describing the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.

13 When they had finished speaking, James declared, “Brothers, listen to me!

14 Simon has told us how God first visited the Gentiles to take from them a people to be His own. 15 The words of the prophets agree with this, as it is written:

16‘ After this I will return and rebuild the fallen tent of David.

Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it,

17 so that the remnant of men may seek the Lord,

and all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord who does these things

18 that have been known for ages.’

19 It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not cause trouble for the Gentiles who are turning to God.

20 Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals, and from blood. 21 For Moses has been proclaimed in every city from ancient times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.”

The Letter to the Gentile Believers

22Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to select men from among them to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas called Barsabbas and Silas, two leaders among the brothers,

23 and sent them with this letter:

The apostles and the elders, your brothers,

To the brothers among the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: Greetings.

24 It has come to our attention that some went out from us without our authorization and unsettled you, troubling your minds by what they said.

25 So we all agreed to choose men to send to you along with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

27 Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to tell you in person the same things we are writing.

28 It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond these essential requirements:

29 You must abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals, and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.

Farewell.

Hugs verse 28, this was written as the Holy Spirit empowered the JEWISH believers not to BURDEN the GENTILE believers,;NOWHERE is SABBATH KEEPING mentioned.

Messiah is LORD of the SABBATH, He gives REST to those that come to Him, yet you want to be a PHARISEE and lay burdens upon believers that Messiah gives them rest from.

Hugs, REPENT, believe the GOSPEL

Dizzy Quizzy, You speak of context and right in the middle of your "context" of "context" (LOL!) is - Acts 15 verses 1 - 29 ( Quiznos says "For context"). LMBO!

Then right in verse 21 you quote - " For Moses has been proclaimed in every city from ancient times and >>>is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.<<<”

Ummmm Dizzy Quizzy are you blind dude in context nightmare of context, there Dr. Context??? LOL!

What day did Moses go into every city and read in the synagogues? The SABBATH, right laddy boy? What day did the Messiah go into the synagogues? The SABBATH, right Einstein!? You are hilarious with your stupidity! You are truly a special kind of stupid "teacher" aren't you?

Luke 4:16 "When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, >>>He went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath<<< and stood up to read the Scriptures.

So all those verses you claim to be in "context" yet none but one teaches the CONTEXT of the Sabbath REST that Moses kept!!

And now again in Luke 4:16 that Yah'shua kept! Where is the verse or CONTEXT of verses that says Yah'shua is the rest DAY NOW and Creation is now changed to only six days of the week, instead of seven? So 7 is no longer a perfection number from heaven sent, as its all over the Bible! 6 years you are to farm ground and let the land rest the 7th dude! 7 times 7 you are to forgive others dude! I could go on and on with examples of perfection of seven! Why do you think the beast of Revelation uses 6's?

Are you blind to Bible context dude??? There is something very wrong with you and I think I know what it is! You hate obedience to ANY kind of Law (so you disguise it with words like UNBELIEF) in the Bible and that's the depth of your pet sin, similar to Richards BIBLE LAW FORBIDDEN eating of scavengers like lobster that he loves to eat! Is that your problem and continual sin Quizzy and that's why you are so Dizzy? Lol!

What is the conclusion of the whole matter Dizzy Quizzy??? Just what is our duty context boy? Ecclesiastes 12:13: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man!

All the commandments Dizzy Quizzy are to be kept AND don't forget to keep the one he says NOT to forget laddy! You like CONTEXT so here is some REAL context for you junior!

Exodus 20:8-11

8 >>>Remember<<< the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the Seventh Day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy YHWH: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in >>>six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the Seventh Day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath Day, and hallowed it.<<<

Was YHWH tired Quizzy??? LOL! Are you saying we bless the Messiah for only one day now Quizzy, or should we be lazy and not work all days of the week since you claim the Messiah is a day and therefore the resting time of all those days!??? LMBO!

Dizzy Quizzy! REPENT, believe the GOSPEL! Buuuuwwwaaaahahahahahhaha!

Hugs,

Did you read with understanding the Scriptures i posted, of course not.

Now lets breakdown the Scripture for you.

1 Then some men came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”

2 So Paul and Barnabas engaged these men in sharp debate. The two of them were appointed, along with some other believers, to go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders about this question

V1. Some men were teaching Circumcission ( works )was a requirement for salvation.

V2. Paul and Barnabas went to Jerusalem to see the apostles and ELDERS ( not pastor ) about this.

V4. Paul and Barnabas told all that GOD Almighty had done to the Assembly, apostles and ELDERS.

5 But some believers from the party of the Pharisees stood up and declared, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses.” 6 So the apostles and elders met to look into this matter.

V.5 Pharisees say The Gentiles ( All the gentile believers ) MUST, are required to be circumcised AND require to OBEY the LAW of Moses( that is ALL the law of Moses, including the SABBATH ).

V.6 The apostles and ELDERS (not pastor ) looked into this.

7 After much discussion, Peter got up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you that the Gentiles would hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe.

8 And God, who knows the heart, showed His approval by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as He did to us.

Verses 7 GOD Almighty uses PETER to proclaim the Gospel to the Gentiles.

V.8 GOD Almighty gives the HOLY SPIRIT to the Gentiles.

V.9 Hearts cleansed by FAITH ( not repenting of sin ).

V. 10 The law is called a YOKE, that people cannot bear.

V. 11 It is by GRACE that a person is saved ( notby repenting of sin, confessing sin, not by obeying the law ).

V. 12 Paul and Barnabas tell all that GOD Almighty had done thru them to the Gentiles.

13 - 21

13 When they had finished speaking, James declared, “Brothers, listen to me!

14 Simon has told us how God first visited the Gentiles to take from them a people to be His own. 15 The words of the prophets agree with this, as it is written:

16 ‘After this I will return and rebuild the fallen tent of David. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it,

17 so that the remnant of men may seek the Lord,

and all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord who does these things

18 that have been known for ages.’

. 21 For Moses has been proclaimed in every city from ancient times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.”

Vs 13 - 18 James gives the prophesy concerning the Gentiles, that GOD Almighty would take of the Gentiles those to be His own people also.

V 19 - 20 It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not cause trouble for the Gentiles who are turning to God.

20 Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals, and from blood

The Gentiles were not required to obey the Sabbath, veres 24 - 28 say the same.

Peter calls the law a BURDEN that people cannot bear, remember Peter while upon the roof of a house was shown a sheet with all kinds of animals.

Acts 10 verses 9 - 16

9 The next day at about the sixth hour, as the men were approaching the city on their journey, Peter went up on the roof to pray.

10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, but while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance.

11 He saw heaven open and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners.

12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals and reptiles of the earth, as well as birds of the air. 13 Then a voice said to him: “Get up, Peter, kill and eat!”

14 “No, Lord!” Peter answered. “I have never eaten anything impured or unclean.”

15 The voice spoke to him a second time: “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

16 This happened three times, and all at once the sheet was taken back up into heaven.

Peter was still wanting to obey the law even after believing Messiah and having the Holy Spirit come upon him with the power of GOD Almighty to be a witness OF Messiah, and to proclaim the Gospel.

This same Peter later valls the LAW a BURDEN that no one is able to bear.
