Certain “Christian” teachers often distort biblical truth by turning Jesus into a pacifist teacher. But history doesn’t seem to bare this out. But who actually coined the term “pacifism” and who were it’s original architects? Certainly not Jesus, there’s no historical evidence leading to him and the term can’t be traced to Jesus. Nonetheless, some Christians, having subscribed to this pagan ideology in practice, often cite out of context bible verses to justify their claim that Jesus was indeed a “pacifist”. After Marin Luther broke away from the Roman Catholic church the the German country broke away from the Roman Catholic Church and then there was a period of almost total war between the Roman Catholics in France and the Protestants in Germany for 100 years.
There were many good Christians in Germany that were Christians before the Protestants such as the Amish, Menonites, Brethren and Anabapists. They believed in the teachings of Jesus and were greatly persecuted by the Protestants in Germany and many were put in jail and killed because they refused to join the army and become professional killers. They completely rejected the mainstream Protestants beliefs of Martin Luther including infant baptism, the belief that James and Revelation were not inspired by God, a modified Satanic mass and the authority of the church and accepted the beliefs of many small Christian sects active before the Reformation.
And so these Bible believing Christians fled to Holland and waited for ships to take them to America where they could follow the commands of Jesus in peace. There have been many great Christian preachers in the past like D.L.Moody who founded the famous Moody Bible college and Charles Spurgeon. Moody was responsible for thousands of Northern Bapists not joining the evil Civil War and killing Southern Baptists.
Christian pacifists understand that every country will have armies and they do not assemble protests against their country's armies. The **OATH** of enlistment is administered by any commissioned officer to any person enlisting or re-enlisting for a term of service into any branch of the military.
