Nope, documented VIDEO proof there was an eclipse of the moon viewing from the earth surface while the sun was in plain view!
Right, unless you run into a mountain. What do you suppose if you used it to calculate for an antenna and put it in the middle of a mountain? How would the reception be?
It's easier to apply a principle when something is constant and that is can be safely assumed to be so.
Funny thing is the link you provided literally shows a diagram applying the equation. There are two antennas and a house between them, closer to one of the antennas. Maybe you missed the illustration?
No, the curvature of a ping pong or beach ball would be the same if they are a perfect sphere. What changes are things like volume, diameter, and surface area. Same goes for a square. A perfect square will always have four 90 degree angles. I can make the square larger or smaller, which will change it's volume and surface area, but in a true square, the angles will always be constant at 90 degrees.
Tothmax, why am I even debating this with you? If you can't physically see, can't physically touch, can't physically measure the curvature of a ping pong ball vs a basketball, the situation is hopeless. The only thing their curvature has in common is the "constant" relationship between their diameter/circumference and curvature. I'm done with this bickering nonsense. Peace out.✌️

A perfect sphere has constant curvature everywhere on the surface whereas the curvature on other surfaces is variable. For example on a rubgy ball the curvature is greatest at the ends and least in the middle. Measuring curvature at a point using curves through that point on the surface will not work.

Btw, the earth has an 'average curvature' because it is not a "perfect sphere". However it is spherical in shape, or if you prefer the word round or roundish? It is not a flat disc propped up on four pillars.
