There are a lot of discussions going on about the Torah and/or the Law of Moses, God's Law(s), the Words of Jesus and things stated by Paul. Here is a simplified explanation of it, and of course you are welcome to disagree.

No matter where you read it in the Bible, the law always has the same function which is in harmony with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It has always been about "Relationship" between God and man. The Church is the unification of that body through Christ and under the Father.

God's creation was perfect, but in that perfection, man was allowed a conscience of his/her own, and when that conscience was used to undermine that relationship, sin entered the world, and with it the promise of the Gospel.

The laws given to Moses were about relationship. The first four commandments are about our relationship with God and the last six are about our relationships with other people. Again, always about relationship.

This is what God asks of us. Love God, and love others. Part of loving God is fearing Him, but it's not a shivering kind of fear, but rather one in which we honor God's sovereignty.

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Again, this is clarified even more by the very words of Jesus.

Matt 22:36-39 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

This is it. Those in Christ are your family. As far as Paul, I have no doubt he understood this. Paul wasn't there to establish law, but rather to help fulfill it. He waa a man, but one with a special purpose, just like God has created us all with purpose.

I like your thread Toth. Thanks for posting!

I wanted to add the following scripture brought to my remembrance..

New American Standard 1977

Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law.

Jubilee Bible 2000

Do we then make void the law through faith? No, in no wise; to the contrary, we establish the law.

King James 2000 Bible

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

American King James Version

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yes, we establish the law.

American Standard Version

Do we then make the law of none effect through faith? God forbid: nay, we establish the law.

Douay-Rheims Bible

Do we, then, destroy the law through faith? God forbid: but we establish the law.

Khutzpah has strongly implied that you don't have to beiieve that Jesus was born of a Virgin to be saved.even though God's inspired Word definitely states that Jesus was born of a virgin. And of course if Jesus was born in a natural way he would not be **GOD** and God's Word states **7 TIMES THAT JESUS IS GOD** And then the blood of Jesus could not make atonement for our sins.

Using this logic you could also say that you can **ADD WORDS** or **TAKE WORDS AWAY** FROM THE BOOK OF REVELATION** and still be saved. However Jesus Himself would disagree with you!!

Revelation 22:16-19: "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this testimony **FOT THE CHURCHES.... I warn everyone who hears the words of this prophecy of this scroll: If anyone **ADDS** anything to them God will add to them the plagues described in this book {Including eternal torment in hell as per Rev 14:9-11}And if anyone **TAKES WORDS AWAY* {Like Khutzpah} from this book of prophecy, God will take away from them any share in the Tree of Life and in the Holy City {The eternal New Jerusalem} which are described in this book!!"

John 12:48: Jesus says, "There is a Judge for the one who does not accept My Words, the very words have spoken will **CONDEMN THEM** at the Last Day.

So here Jesus promises that anyone that does not accept **ALL* of His words will be **CONDEMNED** and **NOT BE SAVED**!!

John 16:12-14: Jesus says,, "I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when the spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all the Truth. He will not speak on his own, he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will **GLORIY ME BECAUSE IT IS **FROM ME**THAT HE WILL RECEIVE WHAT HE WILL MAKE KNOWN TO YOU**!!"

And so Jesus tells the holy spirit to inspire the 8 writers of the New Testament to write the exact words that Jesus wants them to write.

Hebrews 12:1,2: Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us , fixing our **EYES ON JESUS**, the **AUTHOR** and **PERFECTOR** of our faith!!

Chuck writes,

"Teddy, I thought you only stalked and harassed me because you were jealous."

Jealous of what? Your name calling and harassing others with your belittlement down talk? Really Chuck?

You call it "stalking and harrassing" when I call you out on your sin of calling people names??? Or how about when you say the Bible is not inspired by men that were TOLD by Yahuwah WHAT to write! Its sad that you think the Bible is not the WORD (Yah'shua) for us to read and study AND Yahuwah's set apart Holy Spirit reveals that to us when we pray and study it! Perhaps one day you will become a real Christian??? Until then we will keep praying for you!

Like Chuck states - "God Did Not Write the Bible…. and that doesn’t hurt its holiness or its validity!"

If that's true Chuck then likewise ......

GM Did Not make the Chevrolet...... and that doesn’t hurt the GM car manufacturer or its validity!

Oh snap!
