Why then is there such an extreme diversity of belief amongst believers in God? So much diversity results only in opposing and contradictory theologies
According to Ezekiel 46:1 on New moon day and on the Sabbath ,the gate to the Temple is open and is shut on all 6 working days.
SO...if someone asked since the New moon day was on a Thursday (and it was yesterday) if the gate was shut or open...that person may think Thursday is a working day because the weekend is not here yet...
See the reasoning?...Pagan calendars get in the way. This person would probably say shut since in this person's mind , it is a working day.
But it would be open on New Moon day (New moonth) and on the Sabbath.
Another reason people differ is because the biblical new year is not til Spring.
Most believe it is this week.
Some differ on Christmas, Easter, etc...

Some don't study the Word because they think they have it all figured out and therefore everyone else is wrong. I may be wrong on what I am seeing in scripture but I am feeling confident at the moment but the difference in me is I want to keep studying and keep putting the puzzle together. Whereas those who believe in **SINLESS PERFECTION** believe that we have to earn our salvation and eternal life by doing **GOOD WORKS** and being **SINLESS** and that the only eternal reward is gaining eternal life by what we do; and if we commit even one small sin after we are saved we will loose our salvation and eternal life. And so man and not God becomes the Author and Finisher of our salvation.
