As anyone can guess, Richard is obsessed with getting stuff in heaven and with telling half-truths about me and with putting me in league with Satan.

First of all, I have never said all Christians will receive the “ **EXACT SAME EWARD**???, (Richard must be trying to say “reward”)
But worse than misrepresenting me, Richard has finally admitted his “MAIN MOTIVE” for serving Jesus!!! YES—ITS all about what Richard’s gonna get out of it!!!

QUESTION:
How many readers would want someone to marry you, serve you, help you or “love” you for what they will get out it in the end ???
OR OR OR would you want someone to marry you or serve you BECAUSE OF their GENUINELY LOVE FOR YOU AND their genuine love for WHO YOU ARE ????!!!!
If prophetic is serving God merely for rewards sake as his “main motive” (Richards words) then he obviously doesn’t know anything about loving service to God. But Richard finally admits his “main motivation” at last. Pretty clear, from Richard’s own admission, he serves God for what he (Richard) will get out of it
But contrast compare Richards obsession with gifts with the true saints who will cast their crowns at Jesus’ feet in heaven!!!??? WHY will they case their crowns at Jesus feet? It’s because these Saints are motivated by their God given love for Jesus and not by the gifts he gives !!!
Our hearts should be full of love for Jesus. Love for Jesus SHOULD BE our MAIN MOTIVE for serving him. But we do not serve Jesus simply to get his “prizes” and his “rewards”
Richard’s obsession with “heavenly rewards” being the “MAIN MOTIVE” for his service to God reminds me of certain earthy people’s obsession with earthly things. Their focus is not on God but on what he has created!

In the first part of my Bible study I showed that salvation and eternal life are amazing gifts which we do not deserve and are very thankful for which is also the other main motive for faithful and loving service. But to deny God's Word which promises many **ETERNAL HEAVENLY REWARDS ** for faithful and loving service is exactly what littlest David and Satan wants us to believe in order to remove one of God's main motives and promises of **FAITH** in things not seen.

God's Word clearly teaches that faith, salvation, the Holy Spirit and eternal life are all 100 percent **FREE GIFTS OF GOD** and that the two main incentives for doing good works is being thankful to God for these amazing **FREE GIFTS** and to **EARN HEAVENLY ETERNAL REWARDS** which God has promised His chosen saints for faithful and loving service. Whereas those who believe in **SINLESS PERFECTION** believe that we have to earn our salvation and eternal life by doing **GOOD WORKS** and being **SINLESS** and that the only eternal reward is gaining eternal life by what we do; and if we commit even one small sin after we are saved we will loose our salvation and eternal life. And so man and not God becomes the Author and Finisher of our salvation.

Luke 14:13,14: Jesus says, "When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be **BLESSED**. Although they cannot repay you you will be **REPAID AT THE RESURRECTION** of the righteous!"

David,
What I mean by "root" is whatever the issue is stemming from. Oftentimes when there is a problem people look at symptoms and try to treat that, but if you don't deal with the root, the symptoms just keep reappearing.
So for example, say someone is dishonest. Instead of dealing with the subject of "why they are being dishonest", it would be better to find out what is motivating that behavior. Maybe it's stress at home or finances. Once to chop that down and remove it, it would be easier to eliminate their dishonesty, since there is nothing that there to reinforce it, even if it's plucked away.
