Posted : 29 Jul, 2019 04:36 PM Richard posts; God chose Koine Greek because it is by far the easiest language to translate and has an amazing 456 verb endings making it by far the most exact language. "I would have gone fishing," is just one word in Koine Greek!! Even the Old Testament was translated into Koine Greek in the Septuagint version in the 3rd Century BC. Every Old Testament quote in the New Testament is an exact quote from the Koine Greek Septuagint version. I studied Koine Greek in college and am not a Koine Greek scholar but I know how to find out the exact meaning of a word in the New testament in Koine Greek by the use of my concordances which include the Koine Greek and by knowing exactly where to go on the internet. GNWS claims that a **DISCIPLE** is just a "learner" or "student", but when you explore all the verses mentioning disciples in the New Testament we find out that disciples are **MUCH MORE** than just learners or students: Richard, since you had studied koine greek in college, you should be able to translate the scriptures i posted. Any first year Greek student should be able to translate what i posted. By the way, just because i ONLY have a GED, i dropped out of high school, as my life was more important than the riots in the school. I had taken all 5 of the GED tests in 5 hours while in the Army. I did not remember taking the tests as i was so hungover from drinking the night before. Where in the Scriptures does GOD Almighty require anyone to have a degree in Biblical languages. Post Reply

I never mentioned being placed into water, but richard does not know how to read with understanding. Have you ever IMMERSWD yourself into reading a book, hmmm now where is the water? How about richard as he lmmerses himself into his work of calling people SATAN, where is the water. Richard is good at twisting scripture for his own purposes. Post Reply

Isaiah 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling grips the ungodly: "Who of us can dwell with a consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting flames?" Jeremiah 25:37 The peaceful meadows will become lifeless because of the LORD's burning anger. Hebrews 10:27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume all adversaries. For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. However if GNWS had quoted 2 verses before Matthew 28:18 in Matthew 28:16 it would have shown that even His faithful 11 Apostles who He personally trained for 3 1/2 years were called **DISCIPLES**!!! Matthew 28:16-19: Then the **ELEVEN DISCIPLES** went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make **DISCIPLES** {Just **LIKE HIS 11 DISCIPLES**}--not learners or students!!} of all nations!!" If the word **DISCIPLES** must always be translated **LEARNERS** or *STUDENTS** then the 11 faithful Apostles of our great **God** and Lord Jesus, who He personally trained for 3 1/2 years; should only be called learners or students?
