Oooh where does it all begin? Genesis of course!

So it seems clear to me the earth had no form yet and void of anything but submerged in water. No light source yet to even light up the depths of the waters, nor the earth. Shortly now time on earth, as we know it will begin in next verse!
Genesis 1:3 "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."
So now we have a sun (that divided light from darkness vs 4) and obviously He puts it in motion because verse 5 tells us on that first Creation DAY that "the evening and (plus) the morning were the first DAY." Cannot have time without the movement of the Sun I'm thinking. So time begins as we know it across the flat plane of the earth. We should always remember that a day begins at dawn and ends at dusk! NO NO, I know ROME tells us it begins in the middle of the night. Those silly pagans, LOL! Even more funny is the present day Jews teach that a day begins at sundown!? Double LOL!! So comprehend this sillyness, that when it begins to grow dark (sundown) a "DAY" begins??? Not hardly, if we use common sense of what the definition of a DAY is.
Ok lets move on with time. So only one light source is mentioned in verse 3 and 4. I'm thinking I know now that the sun tells me when a day begins and ends but the sun does NOT tell me where I'am in the moonth. Right? So I need another clock to help me with that. Verse 14 helps me with my problem and solves it when it talks about plural lights!
Genesis 1:14 "And God said, Let there be lights (plural) in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:" So obviously to me the moon is not lit until sometime after verse 3 and on because I need a clock to tell me where I'am at every moonth. Look up the definition of "month" and it comes from the word moon
or as I say moonth! Now the stars (ornaments in the firmament, all moving together, some roaming!) give light and tell me where I'm at in the year, as well as spring, summer, fall and winter but not so much about the moonth. But the quarter phases of the moon do and there are 4! Obviously to me (after watching soooo many years now) the dark moon(s) is the new moon Scripture tells us about and that begins the moonth. I mean if the first moonth of Creation began with a non lit new moon, all others will also. Right?
So to me the sun tells when a DAY begins, the moon tells me when a moonth begins and ends and the stars (verse 16) tell me where I'am in the year, along with obviously spring, summer, fall and winter, There is also change in the sun's "orbit" or "circuit" above me that makes the changes from spring to summer to fall and to winter because it makes a tighter circle above me in spring to summer and finally outer circle from fall to winter in my location on the plane.
Lets discuss more of the interesting Genesis 1:14 next time, because atheists LOVE to make fun of Christians when they say "you worship a silly G_d that makes a sun on day one and another on day four" they proudly state, there is only one sun!
