GracePosted : 22 Nov, 2018 06:05 AMMG: It isn't my purpose in these posts to address our call to live pleasing to God(Colossians 1:10). |

GracePosted : 22 Nov, 2018 07:12 AMNo, just speak the truth. Stop denying it because you donāt want to obey it |

GracePosted : 22 Nov, 2018 07:27 AMGeorge and MG allow me to ask this question. Is ok for Christians or believers in the Messiah to continue a life disobedience and still be saved? |

GracePosted : 22 Nov, 2018 08:04 AMLet me ad a few additional specifics regarding my question by asking this way. Can a person be still āsavedā even while he continues to participate in habitual sinning? Many churches teach this. How would either of you respond? |

GracePosted : 22 Nov, 2018 11:36 AMJohn 15:1-4: Jesus says, "I am the true vine, and My Father is the gardener. He **CUTS OFF** every branch in Me that bears **NO FRUIT**, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, and I also will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches.**IF** you remain in Me and I in you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing!!" |

GracePosted : 22 Nov, 2018 08:08 PMMontanagrace, if you agree living a holy life is biblical and obedience is part of that (Iām not suggesting salvation by works or works that keep one saved), then I owe you an apology and it is me that attributed to you wrong motives. After I send that hasty reply about you not wanting to obey, I began to wonder if I might have jumped to conclusions and misrepresentated something you said. If indeed I misrepresented you, Iām very sorry and Iāll take your word for it that you believe Christians are encouraged in scripture to live holy lives though sometimes they do not do so perfectly (like some of my actions continue to illustrate). |
