IF...

Posted : 30 Jul, 2011 05:25 PM by Ella

IF... You died today, this very moment... where would you spend your eternal life? Will it be in heaven in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, beholding all of His beauty and glory? Or, will your eternal life be spent in hell burning eternally in the late of fire with Satan, and all those who have rejected the love of our Lord Jesus Christ in disobedience and His free gift of salvation?

I John Chapter 1. This is the message which we have heard from God and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

If... we say that we have fellowship with Him (God), and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

If... we walk in the light as He (God) is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

If... we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If... we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If... we say that we have not sinned, we make God a liar, and His word is not in us.

If... you pray this prayer, God will hear you , and forgive you of all your sins, and He will fill you with His Holy Spirit, which is the Promise of The Father to all those who believe.

Father, teach me how to pray> Prayer of Salvation - Father, God, have mercy on me for I am a sinner. Forgive me of all my sins, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Only Begotten Son, and that He died on the cross for my sins, and You raised Him from the dead, so that I might have eternal life in heaven with you. Open my eyes that I might see, and help my unbelief. Save me, and I will be saved. Heal me, and I will be healed. Deliever me, and I will be delivered. In Jesus Christ powerful name I pray, Amen.

Once you "CHOSEN" by the Father you are "BORN OF GOD" and the Father "DRAWS" you to Jesus and gives you the Free Gift of Faith which is "NOT OF YOURSELVES" "NOR OF HUMAN DECISION"; and the free gift of His Spirit which enables you to understand the Word of God.

I Peter 1:23,24: "For you have been Born Again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the Living and Enduring Word of God. For all men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of the Lord stands forever. And this is the Word that was preached to you!!" :applause::angel::peace:

Phillipjohn everyone knows that you believe in the Satanic Prosperity Gospel and that you believe that everyone who is saved receives the gift of tongues and anyone who disagrees with you is not of God

Of course I love you both Ella and Richard.

Richard has right to post what he thinks. We should respect hima dn what he does. Why?

Because the almighty God lives in Him!

The same God is going to judge every idle word and intentions/motives.

That's why let's judge ourselves now to avoid God's judgement because we all will stand infront of God at the dreadful Judgement Day. He will judge us. We can get rewards for LOVE toward each other because love is a manifestation of our FAITH.

If there is no love, there is no faith!!!!!!

Faith in this case is dead.

That's why build each other up! Love each other and be the TRUE sons of God. Those who do not love each other, live in sins and God's wrath is aproaching them!

Should we fight? Yes, but in love and prayers. :boxing:

But our intentions should always be RECONSTRUCTION/RESTORATION and ENCOURAGEMENT and showing the sins of each other. Why? To make us perfect as God's is perfect. To make us holy, as God's is holy!

Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

James 2

Beware of Personal Favoritism

1 My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality. 2 For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, 3 and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, You sit here in a good place, and say to the poor man, You stand there, or, Sit here at my footstool, 4 have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?

5 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? 6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts? 7 Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called?

8 If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, You shall love your neighbor as yourself,[a] you do well; 9 but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For He who said, Do not commit adultery,[b] also said, Do not murder.[c]Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. 13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Faith Without Works Is Dead

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, Depart in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your[d] works, and I will show you my faith by my[e] works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believeand tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?[f] 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.[g]And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

The key to what you posted is your faith has works.

The issue is the works are not in agreement with faith.

Dictionary definition of Repentance.

To feel sorry, self-reproachful, or contrite for past conduct; regret or be conscience-stricken about a past action, attitude, etc. (often followed by of ): He repented after his thoughtless act. To feel such sorrow for sin or fault as to be disposed to change one's life for the better; be penitent.

When a person is truly born of God he will steadily turn away from his past life of sin. This of course doesn't completely happen overnight especially for the babe in Christ and continues till we get to heaven. Jesus commands us to continually pray to the Father to forgive us our sins in Luke 11:2-4.

I John 1:8-10: "If we claim to be without sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His Word has no place in our lives!"

Jesus told his saints in the 7 churches to repent 7 times In Revelation 2:5{2X}; 2:16,21,22; 3:3,19.

2 Peter 1:5-10: "Make every effort to add to your:rolleyes: faith {A Free Gift from God} goodness, and to goodness, knowledge, and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness, and to godliness, brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness, LOVE. For if you possess these qualities in INCREASING MEASURE, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind and has forgotten that he has been cleansed of his past sins. Therefore, my brothers:rolleyes:, be all the more eager to make your CALLING and ELECTION sure, For if you do these things you will never fail, and you will receive a *RICH WELCOME* into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.":applause::angel::peace:

Context is vital to understand what is being taught in any occasion, is not in revelations and the instances mentioned, the specific repentance revealed to all?
