From memory "for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son..." sounds simple enough Ist Thess. 1:10 "and to wait for his (God's) Son from the heaven whom (God) raised from the dead even (in italics in KJ, so its an added word) Jesus..' sounds simple enough Romans 1:3 "concerning his (God's) son Jesus Christ our Lord..." sounds simple enough Romans 1:4 "and declared to be (both words in italics in KJ, added words) the Son of God..." sounds simple enough Ist corn. 1;9 "God is faithful by whom (God) ye were called (God did the calling) unto the fellowship of his (God's) Son Jesus Christ our Lord. sounds simple enough bless, michael Post Reply

The church of Christ is that...His Church...and the Trinity you ask of is found in... 1 John 5:7-9 ~ (KJV) 7~ For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8~ And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9~ If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. And who the WORD is meant in that verse, kindly read John 1. And whose blood was shed on the cross to purchase our salvation? My Bible says GOD's Blood, read Acts 20:28. JESUS is GOD and i have no doubt about that...thats why the salvation HE offers is Perfect and Complete...GOD dying for sinful man in the Person of JESUS CHRIST. Because GOD is a Spirit, HE has to have a body to sacrifice for the world.No man can kill a Spirit. JESUS is GOD. Post Reply

Chapter 1 verse 8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega", says the Lord God. "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty" Then the same person continues talking in verse 17b "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. Then as He ends Revelation in Chapter 22 verses 12-13 "Behold I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." Since God is the Alpha and the Omega, then the Father and the Son as well as the Holy Spirit are God. You cannot separate them in Revelation as well as many other parts of the Bible. Blessings, Nancy Post Reply
